****Official Doom 4 Thread****

I'M totally lost please help :(

i've just turned on the satellite array and a satellite dish moved out on an arm, i'm lost after this i cant find my way out, i dont even know what this area is called..... it's semi outside and near the beginning, it's driving me nuts

Whenever you're stuck look for green lights ;)
 
i'm now lost in the next area, trying to find the 3rd demon infestation :(

this game is starting to get very annoying, this keeps happening and it's wasting hours of precious game time, i cant be bothered with this much longer.

i'm not sure about this game now, the fighting is great but the rest is not that good, it has no feeling of dread and terror, you know exactly when the demons will appear.

this game started great but it's now becoming very annoying, because when you get lost you cant think straight, you cant see the clues, you run around frustrated.

Pretty much the same as doom 3, after 20-40 minutes or so you'd seen all the tricks they used to spawn demons. Difference being the demons in this game can swarm you pretty quick, in doom 3 a "swarm" consisted of about 3 slow moving enemies.
 
There's a new nvidia driver, read that a few people got a small FPS gain in doom. However I also read that it still doesn't have an SLI profile so I'm sticking with 365.10

I thought it was pretty obvious where you need to go in this games. Either follow the objective marking or look for green lights....
 
lol go to the youtube chanel "macks corner" and load up the video doom-secret levels, he's playing doom and near the end of the video around the 45 minute mark he gets a scam caller. :D

I can recommend Mad Max :D

(and don't buy any souls game)
 
i'm ok now it's going quite well ;)

this game has improved quite a lot since upgrading the assult rifle, my next task is to kill Olivia

Just press tab and go to all the areas grayed out, failing that go to Youtube. I had to do that for one of the levels, I just missed something obvious like pressing E on a pad
 
Doom was never originally about terror, that was a Doom 3 creation. Doom is about fast frenetic action, nothing more, nothing less.

Yeah, that happened to me earlier today. :/

Also, though rare, after dying I'll be presented with a trial - even one I may have done. Sometimes, it just seems it's not quite running 100%.


Just finished watching that world record video. Incredible. :cool: And there's me struggling a little with ultra violence. :D
