Terrible junk game, play lol way better, as much as I have given flack to Riot for its game bugs, its on a whole nuther level. The valve idiots and there dev forum for dota2 is rife with fantards so bad its detriment to the game.

Not surprised I made a full bug and feature improvement thread on there development forum over a year ago, and got banned, reason "Derogatory remark" .. what a joke.. I've made more critical posts to Riot and they've taken on the feedback very well.
That game can slip away, its trash and valve will have to keep funding it like a leaking bucket.

Wouldn't want you playing a game that is a burden of knowledge, super toxic and anti fun mechanics.
No it isn't, you just get more english speaking spastics than russian ones, hon definitely the worst though for taking abuse.

Well its not a bad game, but as far playing long term it just doesn't have the same appeal, its hard not to compare it to LoL on every gameplay mechanic because they are very similar gamse. I've only played dota2 with friends, just never had much interest to solo play it like I do with lol and ranked games, graphically it looks nice and has its own style. Not having to have a seperate client launcher and game exe is also nice and probably the biggest issue with LoL and its bugs that come from that setup. Just dota2 has stuff like turn speed, where hero animation and last hitting have always felt off to me, like I'm playing with a ping equivalent to being on a server on the other side of the world. Is plenty more issues I have with it and lack of development, but whatever I think dota2 competition will be blizzard upcoming moba game.. Smite is now the game I play with friends as none of them are that serious about dota2 or lol.

In fact things are so diverse its great, you don't get a stale meta game where the owners of the company actually introduce a system where you are assigned a certain role and can only pick certain heroes for certain lanes or doing other wise will get you banned.
No game is balanced, in fact you can't possibly define balanced in a game where every hero is different unless each team plays the same heroes against each other in the same lane on a perfectly symmetrical map.

I was talking about Riot actually posting updates on the game and making videos for new champs. Not the actual players since they are garbage in both games.
Oh right, i'd rather have Cyborgmatts breakdown, spotlight videos aren't necessary, we have dotacinema which doesn't really need to make them since every hero is in dota already.

Tried to give this a go today having practiced a number of champs vs bots . 2 games with multiple leavers to start with and just spent the 3rd being called a retard for the entire game for losing mid as pudge vs outerworld devourer (never any mana for any abilities. I don't know how I was supposed to win that but both the other duos where together so mid it was!)). I heard the community was bad, but that just felt like I was being bullied in the playground or something. Never had the urge to reach through the screen and punch someone in the face so much!
Is it some sort of matchmaking issue which puts new players with people who clearly have played the game lots and expect their teammates to be semi pro? How are new players supposed to learn when you get idiots like this... Ugh... I thought LoL and Smite had bad communities but this takes the cake...

You just need to stick with it, the leavers will stop once you have more matches behind you as the people your matched with will start to care. As for the name calling the best thing to do is group up, solo matchmaking sucks all the time.
