Indeed just make a group.

There are a few ocuk ******a but In general it's decent enough crowd. My one frustration team stack is you tend to ftw stacked against a 4/5 pro stack when you are 2/4 people learning. As usual dota balance fails and you get stomped which helps no one.

Had a good game with Mortah and Lionel last night!

Yeh, I've had a look at the MMR's and it seems I fall inline with the average person on OcUK so I'll be a little less shy going forward!

Ah you were the new voice I heard last night Gornall,

I was CAI skulking in the background due to missing the game you guys started :)

Got to play Dota for the first time in a week last night, both wins playing as jakiro and Disruptor.

Haha I was indeed.

I do think I've played a few in-house games with you in the past...but that's going back a while now.

You should have said you were sticking around for a game after, I'd have joined you. I was under the impression everyone was leaving!

Hey if anyone is interested in getting a 5 team going with play 2-3 times a week
Send me a FR on steam (Fantasticcg)
I love this game but so annoying playing on your own or with one other person.

Probs a good idea to give rough idea of your MMR and skill level. Me and a friend would possibly be interested if you are 3.5-4.5k area

I played earlier with Lionel before Mort was about.

Ended up playing a little CS:GO public rather than risking a solo game of Dota :D

Chance for a quick 45min game, both ruined by random dc'ers after 10mins. **** off and don't bother playing if you aren't going to see a game out. *****

Been working my way through my random heroes from the compendium.

I have half completed so far the ones I played last night were:

Phantom Assassin - First time playing this hero and I managed to get a win right off the bat. Had a tough lane against Riki and Bounty Hunter but managed to hold my own against them both quite well. Then I got a Gem of true sight and ended up playing a great game as her finishing with a huge stack of kills and not many deaths.

Skeleton King - again this was my first time playing this hero and I really enjoyed him. Again ended up doing quite well with him. His build is quite interesting and he was fun going one on one with pudge on the other team.

Really getting into this game now. I still make some silly mistakes sometimes but starting to understand it a lot more.

I'm just playing all random.

Had an easy win as Sven going 12/0 and just melting anything that came near me.

Then won as Huskar, went 7/9/17. I struggle a bit late game as Huskar as if you operate on lower health to be more effective late game you can get taken out relatively easily. I may have initiated a bit much with him when I probably need to wait for stuns then go.

I have been playing Phantom Assassin a fair bit as well, if you get good grind then late game she is amazing. Really enjoy playing here, and as a noob there are not too many buttons to remember as well :D

Im still working on getting to level 13 so I can play ranked games but if there is anyone that can put up with my noobness and fancies a pub game then hit me up on steam. (steamid = cuffylad)

To all you newer folk, don't underestimate 1. Mobility, blink dagger is awesome and 2. Magic immunity, BKB is better than a damage item more often than not. In general I'm not saying get BKB on everyone at all times, or blink. Just don't forget they exist :)

See so many newer players never pickup BKB's and go all out damage instead.

Blink I think is the best item in the game.

Weirdly, I see even more pick up BKB as per the guides, but never use the active on it. 10 seconds magic immunity is huge, does wonders for survivability in most cases.

Compendium has forced me to play Magnus for first time this week.

Took me 4 games to get used to him. First 2 were horrendous. However I just won a game with him and my team were commending me. Got an awesome 4man ult and charge that wiped their team.
