I didn't like support at first, but I've played Dazzle a few times, and some of the other supports. and watching your team plow down enemies as you keep them well above the threshold is quite entertaining :D.

Been playing quite a bit of disrupter recently must say I'm surprised I haven't seen him more often, there is pretty much no chance you can run away from him with glimpse unless you are lifestealer or have a BKB..

He is quite popular competitively for the above reason and the fact that kinetic field and his ulti is so damn useful. I can't play him for love nor money though :p Takes a while to get used to his combo timing.

Yeah supports are really fun to play imo, kotl is insanely fun to play.

I'm having fun with Lina the fire maiden. Most builds I see have her using mana boosting skills. Last night I toyed with boosting agility and the scepter for her ultimate. It was great in early-mid game, as I could quickly zoom in, pop my stun spell, fire off my basic wyrven nuke and gtfo!!. If my lane companion joined in, we had a kill. Otherwise, the enemy was harrassed and had to leave to replenish health. Only issue is being too squshy if a melee unit stuns you, hence the agility to gtfo as fast as possible.

Anyone else getting stuck on the "reconnect/ leave game" screen of the Play tab once they've finished a game?

I'm not able to research for a new game.

resetting steam fixed this.

Nice to see them at least acknowledging the Russian problem, but none of these half measures are ever going to fix anything whilst they remain optional, I am 100% in favour of IP blocking so I do not have to interact with Russians and far eastern europeans any more. They are and will remain this games biggest problem.

They can't do that, I think the most plausible way of addressing this issue is to make an efficient punishing mechanic.

I report 1-2 players per game in about 99% of games and so does everybody else; yet still there are people who text and verbal abuse everybody. I reckon there needs to be a harsher punishing tool, such as complete lock out from the game for not speaking english on english server or being rude. This will address all the social issues, not just ruski problem.

I hope valve is going to address the appalling social aspect of the game, as of now the amount of abuse in just about every game is insane.

Yeah, I report around 1-2 players a game too, sometimes 3, its stupid. I've reported I think 160 people in 210 games, most of them russians. Have nothing against them, but when they refuse to talk english its really annoying. I was playing with 3 people a few days ago, and we had one random on our team that was russian, we told him all game long none of us spoke russian and he still spoke russian all through the game :(

It's a weird game from a social standpoint because playing with unknowns infuriates even the calmest of us folk. I never give anyone any abuse or complain, I usually just say it' a game people need to llighten up.. However occasionally I do stress out but usually just to myself.

My mate on the other hand is always writing abuse or showing a lack of patience towards the nooby people we sometimes are grouped with.

The best way to play is probably with 4 friends then you have no one to blame but yourselves.
