*** Official Dota 2 Thread ***

Cheer up Musty!

When you get on TS tonight, inevitably you'll be taking the mick out of us all and making us out to be pure evil. I don't know why you play the injured party in public, nobody believes it! haha :D

I'm assuming all this Musty hate is a joke, but where did it come from?

Maybe he's just unlucky? I mean if Drow Ranger was the best of his options what chance did he have?

EDIT:
I'm assuming that even though it was a private lobby if someone knew the Match ID they could download it?

The whole blog thing is a joke :p can't remember who said it but I got told to go write a blog instead of posting in the thread, I'll write if you really want though! :p

@ googley, the musty hate is a joke. For whatever reason he has been nominated the butt of all jokes in the group and so gets it in the neck :D he's good for a new player and had picked it up fast, certainly faster than me I only learned how to ping the map last week :D:D:D

Urgh I feel dirty being nice to him, MUSTY YOU SUCK!!!! (That's better)

I specced a little last night in between games, Looked very much like top and bottom rax on the radiant were about to fall with some split pushing. I think Newts kind of baited the DP ult and then immediately backed, which let viper push into bottom. Then Newts on the bristle had free reign to take down top rax. Pretty much disconnected after that thinking it was GG.

Kind of ridiculous seeing ember with almost 800 last hits, when you guys had complete control of every lane and their jungle. If he was becoming a problem then someone should have farmed up a sheep stick and or orchid which would have made him useless.

Not seeing many spells that the BKB will block apart from the WK stun and no-one bought AC, which would help the whole team vs Death Prophet's ult.

Care to elaborate?

not looking for a dig or a row or anything just keen to understand what you meant by this as I cant quite read between the lines in this case?

I've not watched any of your match but dying a lot on supports and particularly a hero like Drow is usually down to positioning. If they have heroes that can close the gap quickly you need to adjust to that.

As a frequent support player, this is the most helpful Dota video I've watched:

The thing is, and I cant remember what other heroes I had to pick from in the line up but Drow was really the only hero I could play.

However our plan - given our line up - was to let our ember farm so I basically played Drow as a support which is not usually how I would play her. I tried to take NO farm or last hits where ember was farming (intentionally) to allow him to farm and get the gold for the items we required to try and win.

What little gold I did have I had to use for some impromptu warding etc.

Again I openly admitted that I was the worst on our team game last night by far. I had useless heroes in the draft (for what I know of the game) and chose something I knew how to play. Which given with my game knowledge is very little.

Yeah Drow isn't a support at any level. :D Were you playing single draft or something?

Well from what I spectated you only seem to have your camera following your hero and you don't move it very much at all, you just click slightly infront of you to move and inch your camera up each time.

You should be looking around the map more and checking what the enemy heroes are doing, if a lane needs help or if they are getting dived etc, no need to have your camera over your hero all game.
