So what would a hard counter be for Brood, I played her once and staye in lane and made short work of all towers in my way, I'm playing with other noobs mind!

+1 Dark Seer

I find a lot of the time you don't even need to specifically pick to counter her as long as you ward your lane well you can force her out the game especially if you are aggressive early.

Been away a while lately, only managing to play occasionally on laptop.

Got back home this week and fired up Dota on my 27inch 1440p monitor, My god it took some getting used to!

After looking at a 15 inch screen for weeks on end, I actually struggled to look at the minimap or manouver properly without moving my head and flailing the mouse about. Settled back into it now, but its crazy how much my play had been impacted.

In a team with Anti-Mage, Riki, Lifestealer and Juggernaut, all mele heroes, who the hell picks Faceless Void!!?

Me!

Yeah, did not think that one through.

Could've had Crystal Maiden or Leshrac, but I didn't like the look of them much, seemed squishy (never good for me) so went with Faceless Void, to make an all melee team. And screw my teammates every time I chrono'd...

Also, didn't get enough farm to get the gear I needed either so couldn't solo kill too many in a Chrono... (it was my fault I didn't get the farm, I was solo mid but my LH sucked (at times) and was up against Luna who kept pushing me back with ranged attacks)

You should have taken CM or Lesh for support.

I used to just pick what I wanted and screw the team but you'll find it ultimately screws you too. It's irritating but he the adult and help the team by supporting, makes things a lot easier.

5 melee carries too, no wonder you didn't have enough farm. Not enough space on the map for all those heroes to farm. One of the main reasons you need supports is not because of the wards etc, it's because if everyone's trying to farm then everyone gets mediocre farm and no-one can carry.

I know you have to take what people type in chat with a pinch of salt, but what is it about mobas in particular that brings out the horrible in people?

Just played with a guy who kept calling the russians on our team *****. Ok I'm no fan of the russians that dont communicate but this guy was alright and spoke English. Just on and on and on and on abusing everyone tbh. That right tehre is the problem with dota, and I've played online for years, the abuse has never been as bad as it is in this game.

Just mute them as soon as they start with the abuse, if they want to communicate they can ping.

Everyone will be bored of in in 1-2 weeks and realise they can't play it and we'll be back to normal :) in the mean time 5 stacks all around.
