haha, unless it's viper or razor, easy mode carry only here! can't be doing with the effort involved in faceless, lycan, pl etc.
But seriously we need to start doing single draft again, I'm reverting back to me old ways of playing the same characters over and over. I need to be forced to discover greener grass.
EDIT: to answer your original question, i shall indeed be on tonight, and tomorrow and the next night (Missus working nights most of this week)

Got Dark Seer on my hero challenge, how is he supposed to be played? Strikes me as not really having a role beyond beyond useful for pushing lanes out. Went hard support with him first game and had some useful moments but just wasn't sure how to get the most out if him.
Any tips?
Won my Storm Spirit and SB games easy enough, forgot how much I liked SB, fun character.

He's generally a solo offlaner in 99% of games. He's very difficult to gank (as he has both surge and can stay further back and use ion shell) He also is an excellent recovery hero, if you stack the jungle you can quickly catch up if you've had a bad laning phase (can also steal enemy stacks easily) Late game his combo is very effective, particularly at defending high ground. The fact he can farm so effectively makes him great for getting early game important items like mek/pipe up if the team needs them.
His weakness for me is he generally comes online a little later than the common offlaners (Clockwork and Centaur for example) He really needs around level 11 to be really useful, means you have a high enough Vac level to effectively use the Wall combo. This means he can't support really, especially not hard support, he's just too level dependent. You could do a greedy 4th position support/jungler but you'd be taking XP from your carry in the early stages and hoping the enemy doesn't push hard.
He's a tanky offlaner, good against melee safelane carries. Can get last hits/harrass melee carries from a distance by putting Ion Shell on your creep wave, and pretty survivable with Surge. I usually go Soul Ring -> Arcanes -> Mek -> Shivas or similar. Also got a very strong ultimate that is often underestimated/not used properly... drop it in the middle of them instantly followed by vacuum, you get replicates of their heroes that do high % of the original heroes attack damage.
