Got NS set as well, with ward for pug.

Anyone know how to fix the microphone line through? Steam picks it up fine, Mic set to default in settings but dota isn't having it.

Not much clues to the google search as a lot of people have had it at some stage but no real fix as such seems apparent.

Also, does the Alch , agh buff only work while that hero is alive? I assume they lose it after death.

Last one, the item that gives 30% attack speed when used. Does that last for the entire game, including deaths? Good FV upgrade if you have the cash

Permanent to both, they would be terrible otherwise :confused:
 
The trouble is that a lot of support players (at my level at least), myself included, barely play support heroes as supports.
They buy courier, some wards (sometimes) and if you're lucky don't try to last hit.

It'd be nice to see support players doing the support role first, before seeing carries helping to do it.
 
Supporting "properly" isn't tewarded in pubs in general though. You need proper comms for really effective supporting and pubs don't offer that. "Support lite" tends to be the best in pubs as full support is just wasted (IMO)
 
Yeah I pretty much just control the lane equilibrium and try and harass the enemy out of lane if it is feasible. Smoke ganking mid and stuff is just too difficult in solo queue
 
Personally cannot stand this patch, the amount of additional stealth items blows. Every single fight in pretty much every game is people just pinging round invisible. Yawn.

It is not counterable in Pubs most games as you don't have enough, or good enough, support to spend constant gold on wards. Then as soon as you get behind and gold becomes even rarer for your support the stealth gets even more pointless.

Time to take a break again, I hope it is something they reverse but I cannot see it being all that easy to do so.
 
It's kinda fun I think.

It's just early days and people are excited and using the new items. Give it some time and it will settle. I like a lot of the changes. Although I haven't had much luck yet. Lost every game.
 
Same, which probably hasn't helped my mood :p

Every hand since I've been with a 3/4 stack and the other stack always seem streets better :(
