Had a game with pudge last night. Was hilarious. I have never played him and pubs are not the most forgiving place to practice :-D

The amount of abuse was awesome. Never had so much grief fired at me!

I initially kept cancelling my channeled ulti. Whoops.

Had a couple of fun games as silencer. I'm terrible in the early game, but quickly pick up the pace once I start getting the kill assists.

Not sure on my item build though, generally get the scepter for the global ulti damage and mana drain, as well as a scyth for the control and a dagon 5 for the int boost and to have a direct damage spell to burst off.

Also had a great game with zeus, doing to tried and tested pubbie build of thundergods wrath + refresher. Its just so much fun, and works really well psycologically since the enemy team suddenly know I can deal 1000+ damage to all of them instantly.

Finally, I need to start buying more items that actually require activation rather than simply being passive. How do you all have your item binds set up? I have two on my mouse side buttons, one on space, and then the others are just c, v & b, but these are so awkward to hit that I never end up using any items bound do them... but I don't know what other keys would be easier.

I've gone for Alliance because while they keep to the same few heroes, the ones they do play they are world class at. Do you ban out S4's great mids, Bulldogs offlaners or akkes god damn ridiculous chen? I feel they could extend their hero pool a bit (like bulldog's recent bounty play) but it just needs a little bit more variety, I feel they should stick to what they are good at.

That said, Navi are a lot more fun to watch because they are hyper aggressive and xboct of Mouz is always good for a feed or two ;) I just hope Bruno's yellow suit comes back because that was truly outrageous.

Selected Navi on my compendium because watching them are what got me into dota2 and I love dendi, but would really like alliance to win.

I've just started playing this and I'm having a great time. I've worked my way through the bot training and I've just finished my 4th match against real people (the limited hero selection ones). I've found myself doing well as Lion and supporting the rest of the team, rushing to the defence of whoever looks pushed and turning the tide around. It seems to be going OK as I've won 3 out of the first 4 games.

Is it wise to stick to one hero and learn them well or should I be switching around and getting a feel for more? I'm going to complete the training games but feel that after another 6 games I'll still be way out of my depth for a normal game. Any suggestions on what to do or should I just suck it up and get stuck in?
