Brilliant.

Good game from Fnatic after their start. Trix bossed it at Rosh mid game, completely turned it.

I dunno, game 2 might go wonky :(
EDIT: OK they turned that poor start around.

Anyone looking to offload a few cards? I could do 2 cards an un-common or common from my spare parts bin (tab 6: http://tf2b.com/dota/myshra#6), looking to finish the sets in tab 7 but can trade for other cards (or hell - even items) I don't have too.

I bought a compendium. Though I can't really do anything with the book as I'm too late. Bummer.

Also I got the Mace. I could have sold what it was in for more than the mace! Bah!

Oh and I managed to set up my live stream so my webcam in in the character window. I am so lame lol

I'm determined to get into a MOBA now, I've always been put off of them because of the **** communities, but I'm going to give it a bash and try not to feed too much. I get the basics of them now, before I was running around trying to bash heroes all the time, some guides pointed me in the right direction.

Anyone who i can have some games with? Even v.s. some bots I don't care.

Also best heroes for a noob? Tried Sand King, Tide (Something), Sniper. Heard Lich is meant to be good so will give him a bash later.

This guide lists some of the heroes you most likely want to avoid as a new player and which you may want to favour towards. It's also a great guide so well worth reading through.

Good luck getting into the game it takes a while but its well worth it. The community can be terrible at times but it can also be great.

Some supports that are nice for beginners are Crystal Maiden, Lina, Lich, Ogre Magi, Jakiro, Lion, Venomancer and Witch Doctor.

If you want to try some carries I'd suggest trying Dragon Knight, Sven, Skeleton King, Chaos Knight, Juggernaut and Viper.

Tidehunter and Sand King are nice initiators (Sand King can be more of a counter initiator with his ulti). Takes a while to get used to Sand Kings ultimate because you have to channel it for 2.5 seconds before it takes effect then you ideally blink in with a blink dagger and deal a lot of damage.

To get a good idea of how to play the heroes you should look for a 'purge plays x' video on youtube, he describes his decisions pretty well and gives u a good understanding of the heroes and their abilities.

I'm really getting annoyed with the matchmaking now. I seem to get paired with people that know the game like the back of their hand and they also seem to never speak English. So all I'm seeing in chat for my team I can't read.

I really enjoy the game but it is completely team based and people just keep leaving. I hate having to stay in a game I know is lost but I don't want to abandon games.
