Is there a certain point you are kept on limited hero games until?

I don't seem to be able to select them.

All heroes are available at the start. If you are getting a limited selection, then you are probably playing draft mode or similar. If you select "All pick", then you get all the champs.

The typical one is clockwerk. Mainly because battery barrage (I think) interrupts his ultimate.

And who doesn't want to see hook wars..

Managed to gwt all pick working (I'm a nab lol) had two good games. Won both, was venomancer first game and struggled, played Jakiro second game and really liked him he's got a good skill combo.

Indeed. I played 4 games today won 2 lost 2. 2 I won (one 3v5) we had SB, 2 I lost they had him.

it depends, he is a Pub stomp. however, you can usually counter him. that is if you're reactions are quick. Puck is a good choice, orb then phase shift out. even throwing stuns works from Nyx/Lion.

I think he has one of the highest % win rate in pub games along with warlock. In pro games he is rarely picked and when he is picked isn't very successful.

He is a great counter to mobile heroes and split pushers. Spirit Breaker is one of the best counters to Nature's Prophet and is great for setting up kills on invisible heroes such as Riki Martin.

In turn he is easily countered by heroes such as Shadow Demon and Outworld Devourer which are both popular picks in high tier play.

Are there any good heroes to use who
A) ranged
B) do decent/good damage
C) have some escape skills

I'm still looking for a hero I really like and the above would fit the bill.

I'd say clinkz, a lot more beginner friendly than weaver/puck.

Windrunner is good as well. Although she is more of a support.
