*** Official Dota 2 Thread ***

Despite getting man handled in the games I played was fun playing with 5. Randomness of random modes sucks though :p

Aye good games, up for more tonight. Random mode can throw you a bone or a grenade, going from Void, which I've played a decent amount to a first time Storm Spirit.. need to practice with more chars.
 
Just finished a couple of good games with Gord there, enjoyed it. First time Ive managed to play Huskar reasonably successfully .
 
anyone having problems with servers? sometimes randomly, ill just receive no packets from the server, get a 30second timer in the top right, and DC from the game. Multiple reconnects later MAYBE i will get back in.

If i leave the game, i dont get abandonment... Happens on any server, USW, USE, Europe. (ever since the EU W and EU E patch).

spec of PC is fine, i have 500 games played no problems till the last week.
Checked integrity of Dota2 all fine.
Does not happen in NS2 or DayZ.

Seems a mass issue currently mate, maybe you've already seen this but - http://dev.dota2.com/showthread.php?t=44943

Keep an eye on it and see if there is any update on how to fix it.

Ill be playing tonight. I added you on Steam I think mate but we havent played. Im Jive Turkey on steam.

Played with gord a few times now and we have a pretty regular group of players together on mumble. We managed 4v4 last night.
 
Ah yeah I've got you, need to put you in my OcUK Dota group :p, trading makes a mess of your friends list.

Would be cool if we got a small team going and see if there are small tournaments to enter.

Ursa aint a bad starting character.

I think if I was to start over I would play Single draft games or random select more often and just try to learn as many as possible.

I started with Luna, played her religiously, moved onto nightstalker and lich.. they are still my main characters but I like to occasionally mix it up a bit now as it helps understand who you are up against.
 
well played 2 games on US West last night seemed fine, gonna avoid USE USW servers for now... just hope i dont run into too many bad Russians ;)
