I get very annoyed, very quickly, which certainly doesn't help :p

I suppose the point is, a large proportion of players will just abuse these mechanics, a lot of them purely play out wide on the wing and try to cut back - it gets extremely tedious. I have resorted to it myself at times, or I just lose...

@Robbo did you try the tactic I linked to on Twitter? They are different and allow you to play more football if thats your thing. For me at least I like to try to be a bit different, otherwise I get bored.

The 4132? Yes I did actually, seemed OK but unfortunately the 4321 seems most effective for me.
 
Awful gameplay.

Was just 2-0 up against someone and absolutely cruising - all of a sudden my passing falls off a cliff and every attempted pass goes straight to their players and 2 lucky deflections later it's 2-2! :confused:

I don't help the community I'm sure but when that sort of thing happens you just know you aren't going to be able to compete and so I end up quitting for fear of smashing my controller if I continue.
 
Hadn't seen many kick off glitches for a while and then had different 3 people using it in one sitting, in FIFA23 I'd kind of got used to defending it but for some reason I'm struggling to get the CB pulled back to cover it. Probably need to look at the player switching settings. Plus you kind of "forget about it" until they try one so if they score off the their first attempt you've lost a goal even if you counter it for the rest of the game.

Salah finesse+ shots from 30 yards are getting annoying too. I think that needs nerfing a bit. I mean they nerfed whipped pass+ playstyle which was fairly OP but at least it was original.

I've been pretty patient with the game and never really bought into the whole "worst fifa ever" thing (because it isn't when judged on merit) and I'm fine with the 71 depth pressing but it is starting to wear me down a bit where I keep conceding the same cheesy goals, I'm a pretty good loser and have no problem with getting outplayed if it's the sort of game where 80% is even / I'm on top, and then the other 20% is them bagging some goals through some little repetitive routine they've practiced a bunch of times.

It's the same game, just higher fps on PC if you have the monitor and gpu to drive it and sharper visuals as well.

I'm not a fan of EAFC24 but I'll still play seasons mode here and there when I feel the inkling to do so.

Also with crossplay you can still play against or with your mates, in fut, seasons, pro clubs etc :)

or you can try the game with an EA PRO sub for a month (if there are enough other games to justify the one month subscription price for you)

I'm pretty sure there is an algorithm within the game to stop you completing objectives - even on the easiest setting!

You want assists from a particular player - nope! Ain't happenin my friend - the opposition keeper will become prime Van Der Sar to stop that happening! :cry:

Just do SB - Semi Pro :p You can put the controller down after 2 mins
 
Did 3 base icons not had any decent the last few years. Started off with Rush pretty standard, then Roberto Carlos nice, then Maldini. Very nice. No idea what’s gone on there because my account is usually ass.
 
Game infuriates sometimes, played a game where i was the better side and every time i scored they scored from kick off, just couldn't tackle they run the pitch and score. So annoying. I know people would moan if there were not as many new cards but there's to much out i feel. So i had done most of Vidic for example and there's loads better cards out now. Also see the same special cards each year, half expect them to find a way of getting ibrahamovic in the game just to bring a special card out.

Might just go to squad battles and leave the online stuff which infuriates me.
There's always FC 25 in 10 months haha
 
Alright folks. I have a pretty decent first owner untraceable squad as I managed to get some luck this year with my lottery pulls.
I just packed a tradable TS Henry who is currently on the market for 3.3mil. I'm not that invested into the game as much as I used to and I'm happy enough with my squad.

I know some of you guys used/still? to buy/sell coins. I'd appreciate it if someone can PM me suggesting the best way to do this. I've read of U7buy and seems to be well known. If this is against the rules, let me know. Thanks.
 
Nipped onto my other account and started Fc24, much more enjoyable down in div 10 haha. Got a 99game loan of vvd so defence is sorted on it.
On my main I packed the psg woman striker but he special card. Doubt she'll replace if benzema but good fodder all the same.

Seen a clip on reddit of someone who has just done mbappe potm packing an mbappe special card not long after

You're right, they would moan. Content levels and dopamine cycle is ramped up so much that people literally expect new cards every day or two now.
Cards will always get outdated unless they are ultra special, it's only worth starting icon sbcs (aside from the bronze/silver/loan squads) if you can finish them in a timely fashion or they are rated over 90 and cheap IMO. In FIFA23 I remember grinding Drogba very slowly alongside other stuff and by the time I got him he was useless. I left Vidic because I did Blanc and already had two CBs higher rated than the icons anyway.

My team changed quite a bit over the weekend but only incremental upgrades e.g. totw lewa instead of lewa, evo'd Bernardo Silva, TS de Jong instead of Gold de Jong, TS Casillas instead of totw ter Stegen, Koeman instead of Mapi Leon, Kototo instead of Griezmann etc. Haven't packed anyone top tier.

Current annoyance is im trying to evolve Bailey, he needs to feature in 4 rivals/champs wins. The idea is I sub him on towards the end but when I'm winning people keep quitting before I get the chance. I don't want to start him and then sub him off because then the incoming sub gets 0 chem instead of 3.
