Not sure at what stage you tried it (if you did at all) but I would heartily recommend giving it another go. I was heavily against this game throughout its development but over time it has evolved from a car crash into a really good game and great alternative to the wow standard games.

Trust me, give it a try at least.

Ive tried applying a 5 day code off bay to my already 3 day head start account, says I cant.

Have emailed them, apparently i should just be to apply the code and it over rights it. Have emailed them again, so wait and see i guess
 
Holy cow I feel completely in over my head compared to most MMORPG's. Maybe it's because I haven't really got into any of the Elder Scrolls games much before?! Any tips and advice for a complete noob welcome :p

Also I think some one should make a separate thread so we can all post our handles in there :)
 
Still not sure if I've made the right choice picking a High Elf Nightblade as my caster/warlock wannabe. I'm constantly out of magika and can basically only spam my staff attack. Rather annoying tbh.

You can always just make a new account. Then if the retail key works it works, otherwise apply it to your original account.

Maybe it just early access codes that won't overwrite? as everyone will need to input new keys when the full game is released.

Its very very popular and packed at the moment.

I doubt you'll get another "big one", but its different to the other MMO's. Its more for a mature audience, then other more child friendly MMO's.
 
I really need to get used to the combat mechanics, as find myself dying quite frequently, anyone guide me to some help in building a tanky high elf Templar?

Its not bad, not sure we will ever see the next big think in MMO, but this one could do well.

Think it depends on how much WS takes off it when its out.
 
Any one else notice how random performance is? One minute I'm capped at a nice smooth 60fps as I always play with Vsync on and then the next my fps drops to 40! It's a constant cycle no matter where I am in the game and what settings I have :confused:

Got to level 5, decided to roll a High Elf Sorcerer. I have no idea what I'm doing, haha. Eventually I want to tank but I'm struggling to kill more than one mob at a time, everything is hitting me really hard!
 
Really enjoying this so far. I love a lot of the design choices - no minimap, resource nodes don't sparkle, exploration is always rewarded, plus it looks gorgeous :)

I think I need to explore more but I struggle to not follow the quests my OCD tells me I have to complete the marks on the compass:eek:
