Very smooth launch from my perspective - only found 1 bugged quest. Considering the Euro server is still US based, I experienced no lag - this might be different in PvP.

Sadly, I'm at work today :( Will have to bide my time working out builds until I can get home and log in.

I'm looking forward to playing this tonight but i have a date so thats ruined my plan of playing tonight!

It was a very smooth launch, managed to log on early thanks to those that announced it on the forums! Only managed to get to level 8 last night, stopped playing at midnight. I was in no rush to level i often just found myself wondering around the landscape, wasn't even using the mount that i have lol!

Would it be a good idea for people to post there usernames so we can add each other as friends??

Very nice launch, didn't experience any quest or phasing issues and I played until around 2am. Enjoying it a lot. I'm playing a bow wielding, sneaky templar healer :p

I have a small issue with the fact they have decimated the xp gained by grinding mobs. I went out looking for some crafting stuff at L4 as soon as I cleared the prison and was killing quite a few L7 wolves - xp bar hardly moved - knowing you are getting sweet FA makes killing mobs whilst out gathering a real chore. You have no choice but to quest your way through the lower levels.

By far my biggest complaint though is a common one across all regionalised MMO's - why don't the German and French stay in their own channels instead of spamming the main, English one

Lol, I SO did not want to go to work this morning, I KNEW I should have taken today off. Lucky darned Mrs Vlad took it off though, cow ! She was out of bed like a rocket this morning to get and log in

Me too! I stayed on until about 12 after u left had 5 hours sleep and went to work my house mate is off today and playing!! So I've just put a few hours leave in for today so I can go home and play earlier! Haha only a hour to go then I'm finished!

Had two quests that where bugged one I reset and worked straight away the other is when u have to follow the green lady and she just dissapears! With no trail and all my icons on the compass kept freezing solid that didn't go away luckily it made me log off as I had work early hopefully it will work today other than that was such a smooth launch.

I think a lot of them don't realise that there is a separate French and German channel.

I will tell you what my biggest complaint is at the moment, its not really one about ESO itself....

Its teamspeak , I cannot seem to get any teamspeak overlay to work with ESO and its driving me maaaad not being able to see who is talking in teamspeak !

Ah yeah, that quest never worked properly for me in beta, luckily though I know which building she goes to, so no worries about following her, I just go straight to the abandoned house

Actually, there's Main, English, French, German.

If you don't want to see French and German you need to join the English only channel.

That would make sense. I (wrongly) assumed if they were running a localised client, it would auto join them to whatever language their client was set to.

Everyone gets dropped in main. If you don't want to see other languages, join the specific channel for your preferred. It's EU megaserver not "english speaking europe" megaserver :p

I haven't checked, but is it possible to have both Main and English Only showing in one chat window though?

I wouldn't want to miss out on Main, as I bet about 90% of the chat is in Main rather than English Only.

Having said that, generally in the game I don't read the Main anyway, I tend to only read/reply to guild chat. Though that's in PvE, would be a totally different concept in PvP. Mind you...would be quite a problem if in PvP the chat was flooded by loads and loads of non-English and it made it difficult to effectively get strategic information or organise etc.

Don't get me wrong, I adore languages, I do my best to learn as many languages as I can. Just thinking about it from an efficiency point of view :)

Anyone else finding this game tough?

Admittedly I'm not used to MMO's but got my char to level 9. Now he's just too squishy for the quests available to me (all in orange writing). I'm using an Orc in heavy armour with 2 handed weapon.

Any pointers?
