What's the customisation like? I don't mean the character creation but more armour and weapons as time goes on.

Is there legendaries etc...

One thing I loved about GW2 was customising appearance with armour and weapons.

From what I've seen everything looks similar. Also have things improved much since first beta?

No idea...only just hit level 9...took AGES to settle on a build, gone for a Warlock style Sorcerer High Elf using Dark Magic and Deadric Summoning...

purchased imperial edition from greenman. got email saying coodes sent but no codes. looked on there webisste 1code is there no explorers pack.
tried to activate the one code thats there and shows invalid code. will never buy anything from them again. got till sunday to activate a game code or i will loose my lvl 29. not happy at all.

It's a little similar from what I've seen so far but that's sort of down to art direction where it's a more realistic and gritty than some other MMO. So no oversized pink pauldrons or 20 feet tall swords

There are unique looking items, I have a sweet Skyrim style horned helm which is part of an item set. Also there are all different styles of armour/weapons for the different races, a full set of imperial gear looks great in a Roman legion style and some other special styles like daedric, ancient elf or primitive.

Yes you get all the usual white-fine-superior-epic-legendary range of gear.

You won't "lose" your level 29! Why not contact GMG support as ask them to check?

I picked up the treasure maps from the Explorers Pack on an alt (as I'd outgrown the early levels and he hadn't) but it won't let me put the ones I won't need (different faction) in the shared bank. You can't mail to yourself and you only get one set so I'm stuck with them on an alt.

Really not pleased. Bloody stupid system they've got for the extras

You have to open them up to get the individual maps out (takes many more inv slots) and then they can be banked.E

Enjoyed the first 10 levels during headstart and now leaving Auridion soon.

Only thing I dislike again is the 5 quickslots, these are unchangable via an addon so you can only have 5 skills actve.
