In the top right hand side it lists your quests. Why does the txt change colour ? Is this how hard it is ? Sure I have a green and white one etc etc

Yeah, for me i usually have yellow/orange/red i'm guessing it's the difficulty. As the red ones are always much higher level than what i actually am.

Very much enjoying this. Interesting world, combat that gets better the more you play, decent crafting and a logical feel.

Two addons worth getting for new players:

Wykkyd's Framework - gives you quite a few useful UI options, e.g. XP / gold scrolling text, auto loot text. Plus you get a tracker bar, which you can fully customise to show your XP, zone, crafting cooldowns etc.

Wykkyd's Quest Tools - a better quest tracker.

After installing both, go to 'Settings' and look at the Wykkyd Settings option.

There are other mods e.g. to show Sky Shards & nodes on the map, but I think that ruins the enjoyment of discovery.

Does levelling ever actually slow in this game or is it scaled? I found 10-20 barely slower than 1-10 as there were more caves/mines/tombs to clear and plenty of quests to complete for large chunks of exp.

I love how this game is different to a lot of the recent MMOs. I'm only level 12 but I find myself just enjoying the stories and the whole feel of the game so much I'm taking my time. In any other MMO I wouldn't be bothered about the quest, I would just complete the task to level up or I'd grind.

This game is amazing, love every aspect of it as it's exactly the type of MMO i've been looking for that gets me completely immersed into another world.

TFU now have 14 members playing this game, and a few more members looking to play the game when they have the funds.

Anyone in a guild playing Daggerfall Covenant? I could really use some people to chat to other than the zone chat as Glenumbra is turning into Barrens chat mk2.

It is quite a laugh tbh. This is the furthest I have got in an MMO

I really want to get in to this but I'm far too addicted to another game at the moment :(

What's the PvP like? Never played DaOC.
