*** Official Elder Scrolls MMO Thread ***

I really want to get in to this but I'm far too addicted to another game at the moment :(

What's the PvP like? Never played DaOC.

Candy Crush by any chance ;)

I never played DAoC, but I'm hearing this is as close as it gets. Seeing a keep siege going on with ballistas and catapults everywhere is marvellous.

Lol! I wish, back playing a Mir2 private server with about 400 + players, I can't drag myself away.

Gah I'm only level 7! 10 for PvP isn't it?

Level 7 in Mir?! Best get yourself a steel sword and some copper rings haha. It is lvl 10 in ESO, but stats are scaled to lvl 50 I believe. Still at a disadvantage to the higher lvl guys though obviously due to skills.

Ha, I started playing Mir Chronicles at the same time as the TESO release for a bit of nostalgia after somebody posted a link in the Mir thread on here. I found myself playing mir even when TESO was up and had to keep asking myself why? The thing with mir is that it hits the 'addictive as crack' part of your brain and the grind means you feel the need to play in order to keep up. It's completely illogical why I still play it after so long as I very rarely play and think 'this is actually fun'.

If mir is like a dirty pizza that you just can't resist, TESO is a fine dining experience. It absorbs you and gives you so much to do other than mindless grinding and the world feels so real and alive. Plus, western mmos are nowhere near as much of a grind so you could quite happily play both.

Could I have the website links please?

www.TheFallenUnit.co.uk

Going to be doing some work to the forums over the next few days. This will be to add a new TESO section.

TS details in sig.

Same for TFU. Rules etc are on our forums in the recruitment section.

Tbh man i'm of the opinion that anyone can jump on our TS and do some grouping/levelling with us. If they like TFU and vice versa they can stick an application in and get an instant invite into the guild.

Lol, 43 and an Archer... Archer in mir is strange! Nostalgia at its best.

I know what you mean, I'm 43 and lucky if I get 1.5% a hour leveling. Next level I'll be lucky to make 0.5% a hour :D

The thing is though I like the grind, I like the fact I can never reach cap and I like the fact it takes ages to get the stuff you want. I've currently got the best DC kit in game pretty much (for an archer) but I can still get better.

I keep hearing so much about TESO's PvP though but mir is so addictive.
