*** Official Elder Scrolls MMO Thread ***

Lvl 15 Bosmer Nightblade busily crafting and provisioning loads of stuff - quite easy to make money. Quite often take the long way back after completing quests back to a main town, and end up with a full inventory.

But...PUG's! Does the group finder work? Trying to get The Banished Cells complete (some lvl12 Undaunted questline) but struggle to form a group.

Time to join a decent guild I guess. Is there an OcUK one?

Think there was something about that in the patch notes for the test server I posted above (it's quite extensive so I may be wrong but I remember something). If it is in there then it will hit once the next patch goes live.

Thanks! Wish I had levelled enchanting now. Focused on clothing only.

a friend of mine is struggling with ESO and getting graphics corruptions.

I have updated his drivers to the latest AMD beta.

he has a R9 290. The card was tested by me this weekend and it works fine in every other game.

Not seen anything like that on my 290x's I'm afraid. Has he posted it in the ESO technical forum?
 
I get that same glitch sometimes on my 7950, I also used to get it on SWTOR which also uses the HERO engine, so I suspect the fault my lay there.

I have tried many driver upgrades and nothing has fixed it, don't get me wrong its not a permanent glitch it just happens from time to time and usually re-logging sorts it out.

It happens more in full screen windowed than exclusive full screen tho.....does your friend have dual screens?

odd one then.

afaik he is a single screen at 1080p so like i say, a 290 should smash out mental fps. will tell him to play around with vsync and that first.
 
Swore i heard ESO having graphical glitches which Zenimax mentioned, but i've never encountered any on my 770.
 
I was really looking forward to this game but the Beta's disappointed me so much, it just seems like a bland fantasy MMO to me and I couldn't get into it. If it goes free to play later on I might give it a shot and hopefully it will have improved by then.
 
Beta disappointed me to, but because a lot of TFU purchased the game, i did as well and i don't regret it a single bit as they improved the game a lot.

BB is an FPS player at heart and plays with 21 other players on ESO, and around 18 of them are TFU members.

FYI, he's a member of TFU if you didn't already know.

Yeah I know he's in TFU, didn't know that a lot of TFU member's were playing ESO. I thought they were mainly fps players.

ESO is an odd game though, sometimes it just feels like I'm going through a grind and othertimes I'm finding it a lot of fun.

We have your standard guild and currently started a trading guild.

I have a 7950 and have not had this glitch....
