Gave this a go on the weekend - and enjoying it in small doses. It's still lacking in some areas, but we'll see how it goes.

don't think i've touched this since lan 
the initial awe of it has warn off now I think xD but I have had two separate emails saying I have 5 days free game time to redeem. but I;ve also had one email telling me "success!" that I have redeemed 5 days game time... uhh...... is it auto applying them for me now? thanks.... so probably given me it and wasted it because I've not touched it... gg....idiots 
edit: just had more of a read and said it's auto applied to people accounts.... pff... still.... wasted as I didn't know xD

Small price to pay if it stops the morons standing for hours on end at the boss location just killing him over and over as he spawns.

Wow, ticking 'Disable desktop composition' on the ESO.exe has made a big difference to the smoothness of the game for me. Must be something to do with the game not running in true fullscreen, where it would be disabled automatically. Just thought I'd share if it helps anyone else.

Once you hit the higher level dungeons there's a fair share of proper players standing around the boss spawns too. Or at least there used to be

I found having loads of people around bosses really annoying as before it took me about 10-15 attempts to actually get the kill as I wasn't able to get enough damage on the boss to count as my kill..... let alone farm the ******* for lewts!!!
but then did do it on a different boss, was pretty quite and about 4 of us just stayed there for a little bit. just sold everything I got and made a bit of gold. not really anything much though.... maybe if I had bigger bags and spent an hour there it would be a different story ;p haha! Think my game time has run out now. oh well.... it was a fun £27 but don't really plan on returning to it

It appears legit. There's a captured shot on Reddit of their official faq page before the "accidental" announcement was pulled (obligatory, could have been 'shopped comment here). The cynic in me says this is when they plan on going f2p, so they don't **** off the PC base with the console release which I'm guessing will not have a monthly sub tied to it.
Surely this move must have been in the works for a fair old while then? By that I mean the change to a f2p model? Thats not something that is planned off the cuff surely?
I dont see how they could adapt the game to fit a 'good version' of free to play - Rift as opposed to ToR.
I find it very hard to believe that any MMO created in the last few years has not had a f2p model baked in from the start to fall back on. There would be no good reason to actually release this information either during development or whilst it was on a sub based platform, so obviously we would not have heard about it.

This is a question for anyone who has completed the Coldharbour main story-line as it may be a bit of a spoiler.
After completing the main Coldharbour quest(forgotten what it's called, silly i know.) does anyone know what happened to Darien Gautier? i'd like to know if he actually managed to survive or not, but can't find a definite answer.
