I've seen digital copies of this going for less than £20, how the mighty has fallen since the start of the year. After trying the beta this went from a Day1/preorder purchase to a don't bother wait till F2P/bargin bin purchase or just don't bother at all.

Saw it for £17 the other day too and i purchased it for around £30.

it hasn't 'fallen' - I got a digital copy for that price when the game was first out.

How many people have kept the sub after the first month then? I've just uninstalled it.

Still playing, enjoying it, rolled my 1st alt & respecced the dps side of my dk, made a hell of a difference for questing.

Guilds only just started on craglorn trials, done 1st 2 bosses in aetherian only so far.

I still have my sub, my biggest problem at the moment is time, the alpha of Archeage is eating up so much of my time that I am not getting the opportunity to log into ESO.

I subbed for 6 months, I reckon at that stage I'll have seen everything I want from it. I'm an exploraholic, my highest toon is still only 30, and I haven't touched the other two factions areas yet.

Myself and some friends are still subbing/playing.
The games definitely got a lot of issues but it can be quite fun.
I took my noob alt (which I'm going to re-roll due to the selected voice having the most annoying taking damge scream), to Cyrodiil and actually had a blast even though the character was only lvl12.

That's just the authorisation hold they changed it to £1 the other week. It will still take out the full amount when it clears.

Decided to give this a go today. Went into game and got it for £30 (not the cheapest I know but wanted it today). Downloaded the updated client, create an account and try and log in. No current subscription method setup .. it comes with 30days??

Anyways try and set up a credit card and it fails 4 times (not a bank issue).

So I'm left with a game I can't play and a support ticket. Great start. I tried to look past all the negative press this game had. Wish I'd spent money on something else now...

It was between ESO, Wildstar and paying to join the Elite beta.

Sorry you are having billing problems. Support is usually pretty quick and will give you free days if takes too long.

Having played both ESO is a better game, depends what you like though.

Yeah, I wouldn't suddenly chose a different style of game for the next few weeks/months because you have an initial problem.

Contact support and request call back.

wildstar has its own issues, unfortunately one of which seems to be the player base who feel the need to come in this thread to promote it.

I obviously depends on what you want from a game, the chilled out nature of this suits me fine. Wildstar may have clicked with me 20 years ago.

Well they ****ed up something with billing and i could not pay my sub using my visa or paypal. So till they sort allot of **** out BYE BYE ESO.

Thing is month before it took money from paypal with no problems. I ahd tickets running for 4 days and eventually i told them to go **** themselves.
