Something must wrong then? It performs fine for nearly everyone with a spec lower than yours. What kind of FPS are you getting? I only get between 35-100 but as its an MMO surely that is fine?

Ive run with a gtx 970 for nearly a year and its been fine, and it was also fine with the gtx 670 i had before. Ive never had to turn down any graphics options. Ive just changed to a gtx 980ti recently and its not any different tbh as most MMOs are held back by cpu.

It uses Megaserver technology, so there is just an EU server and US server to choose from. The bigger choice is which faction to pick. I vote Daggerfall Covenant :)

I run i5 4690k and gtx970 and run flawlessly on ultra. I also ran the game smooth on high with GTX 660 and i5 750 (and that was with a 2k monitor at the time).
Hell, I have run it on minimum settings on an i3 laptop with integrated graphics (HD4000) on minimum settings - not smoothly, but it runs better than I expected.

Probably worth noting they took the EU server offline just yesterday due to some performance issues so something their end may have been causing issues for some
 
just had a quick go, performance is spot on so far but not been to a really busy area yet, solid 60 at 1080p atm

training area was a bit rubbish but i think im past that now so will give it some time!
 
Can anyone confirm the PC version allows guild members without Bank permission to view what's in the bank but not withdraw please?

I'm on the console and it's a PITA right now as a GM.

To be honest, the game doesn't really start kicking in proper till level 15 - that is the point at which you unlock the second weapon bar which opens up combat nicely.

Yes, I think that's where Radeon Pro comes in, for Nvidia users.

My settings are here which were the best at the time (I tried a lot!)



Its been a while since i set it all up but has worked everyday since. There are a few programs with overlays out there that stop it working. FRAPS is one.

Just noticed there is this simpler method that uses Sweet FX 1.5 and doesn't require Radeon Pro. Its says its not very stable with windows 8 though.

Not sure how it compares to what im using, going to give it a try.

*edit* Its pretty good, but the colours are a bit too warm for me, prefer my old one but its way better than the default.

I downloaded this pile of utter **** the other day and so far I've failed to play it for more than ten minutes due to it crashing on loading screens between areas.

Having a look around it seems like a common issue, but none of the common fixes work. How can a title released so long ago still be so utterly unplayable?
 
Funnily enough i started playing this last night, made a new character also, i always find it hard going back to higher level characters after a break!

I was thinking about resubbing too, is it worth it?
