Templar it is then :)

@Meldarthx For this i had no preference, i've enjoyed all types of classes over the years. I was just looking for something solid to potter around with over the weekend to see the game world itself rather than the classes.

Your voice on those vids is oddly calming in a sleepy sorta way lol.

LOL not sure if that's good or bad :D

glad you liked - I like the world its very elder scrolls and fun to jump on play and then go do something else......they've fixed a lot of issues that were in the beginning; fully broken quest lines etc lol....

Haven't tried PVP yet just enjoying the story for now.

Nexus what do you like playing?? well here is my templar in a couple videos runs....gives you kinda an idea at least of of this tank......*tech can be made into a healer; but they tend to make the best tanks*

I am building a Templar at the moment, AT the start I hadn't planned on him been a tank or a healer. But I went with sword and shield anyway. So I currently wearing 3 heavy armours, 2 light and 2 medium.

So I am not sure what I am going to do, only level 13 at the moment though so plenty of time!!

Go ahead and level up all the skill lines. By max level you can easily have everything maxed so that you can choose whatever you want :)

This is true :) I wish they had reduced the number of skill points so that you would have to put some thought into your build.

Well, you have to put quite some thought in your build because you cannot but skills in everything. You can get everything levelled up but you won't have enough skill points to have all skills

Yep, still playing it, mostly at weekends and enjoying it. The people who dismissed it too early are missing out on a good game imo.

Just got my sorc healer up to Vet14 to find no one wants a sorc healer :p

There's no OcUK guild no, never was. I tend to change guilds a lot just to keep in with the stronger trading ones.

Please could someone point me in the direction of an easy-to-follow site which looks at starting builds? I bought this last week and am so far a little bewildered by the choices available (must be an age thing! :() I've looked on various sites but they all seem to focus on end-game builds. What I'm looking for is a sort of 'If you want to end up with this sort of build then these are the skills/abilities to invest in on the way' guide.

I know that part of the fun with these sort of games is the experimentation - but I don't want to end up with a high level character which is useless because of poor choices early in the game. (Unless of course it's easy to respec your build like in, say, GW2 - in which case, I'm happy to experiment!:))

Just pick whatever 1-50 then at veteran you can look at better builds.
when you get to lvl 15 you get another bar, stick different skills on it as when you hand in quests you lvl up those skill lines so later in the game if you change your mind you don't have to lvl them up from scratch.

I bought it last week too and did spend a bit of time looking for a build guide. Unfortunately everything I found was outdated and not necessarily valid any more.

I'm playing an Imperial Dragonknight at the moment, level 7 so far and trying to work things out as I go.
