*** Official Elder Scrolls MMO Thread ***

Funnily enough i started playing this last night, made a new character also, i always find it hard going back to higher level characters after a break!

I was thinking about resubbing too, is it worth it?

depends :) only DLC I say you have to have is Orsinim I had so much fun there; I've found actually getting 60 day game cards for about 10 pounds is the cheapest option to sub......:)

Isn't there an option to buy content with coins (the cash shop currency?) So you sub long enough to get enough coin to buy full access to content then drop the sub?

yep depending on how long the DLC is out - right now Dark Brotherhood is 4000 crowns - I believe Thieves Guild is 3000; Orsinim is 3000 and Imperial is 3000.......I think...

or get them all free with sub - best way sub for couple months; buy one - then sub a couple more months later and buy another......but base game is free always.....

Cool, that's... about as I thought :)
I'm in the "character too high, can't get back into it" group.

Have they fixed it dragonknight melee is viable? It was all "oh no, you have to be a caster" and "stamina builds are crap" type things when I last bothered with it.

I generally always end up being something melee based (preferably big and magic based rather than a sneaky/stabby type) dragonknight with a good melee build would be perfect.

I actually only have my Templar tank which I'm doing my own build - and posh to high to level bit........

STA builds are fine. Especially the Templar :)

FYI for those missed the changes, if you have a VR16 (CP160) character, all your toons who hit level 50, become VR16/CP160 automatically. No need for "Veteran levels grind".

Correct - all of your champion points will carry over to your new level 50s - I was V level 7 but had 190 champion points........so I was raised to VR 16 in equipment....

yep still trying to deck myself out now LOL

Resubbed last week after a two year hiatus from the game and I'm enjoying it a lot. A lot of my gripes from launch have been fixed though the group finder is definitely broken which is a pain.

Anyone here active in game? I continued levelling up my Templar that I was previously on.

I'm specced as a Magicka focused Tank but have the means to heal (maxed restoring light and resto staff with all major healing skills) as well if needed though my preference is to Tank!

Add me if you are playing, can't remember what you need to add but my username is Ap0c666 and char name Amun

Holy thread revival Batman!

Just re-subbed to this as I need an MMO in my life and never really got into it so hoping 2nd time lucky!

Anyone still active on this?

I've also just decided to go back and give it another try, this always was a decent game. When it first came out I was way to busy with work, so the guild kinda never really took off.

Not logged into it yet but will tonight, hope the guild still exists

So who has picked this up since they released "One Tamriel"?

I started playing it again this week, i've been getting back into as i like the new improvements to the game.

What are people's thoughts on the new update?

All the faction restrictions removed - you can travel freely from level 1 right across the whole map, and it will scale to match your level. It's free-roaming skyrim style basically. Bout time too :D

Sounds cool. I might give this game another try. I think I got to about level 7 last time I played it. I kind of enjoyed it but I got stuck on a quest I couldn't complete at my current level and didn't feel like grinding for XP.

Finally! I never started it but all i wanted to do is travel around and see the sites. I hate it when MMO's restrict you based on your level, which is just about all of them i think

I've been playing around with ReShade to try and make it look a little better, here's what I've come up with so far.....
