*** Official Elder Scrolls MMO Thread ***

Need some help please guys trying to patch up for this weekends beta but keep running into a problem when mitagating servewr to eu one it keeps saying my drive doesnt have the access persmissions but it does ive checked and triple checked.
 
Well they've made a complete bloody mess of this.

On my machine, I seem to now have 3 folders of ESO, my launcher starts up, no longer says anything about EU, then starts downloading the entire thing all over again.

On my missus machine, she has the 2 ESO folders, her launcher starts up, says nothing anymore about migrating for EU, then immediately throws up an error saying Already Downloading.

Total botch up. God I hate being in the EU, we're always the second class citizen as far as game companies are concerned

I just followed the steps that Latex posted and it worked absolutely fine? If it starts downloading again, just delete all but one ESO folder and let it check the files/download a small patch then follow what Latex posted.

Yeah that was the steps I was following too, for some reason though after deleting all but one folder, it started to redownload the whole thing. Im sure I will get it sorted, but really, in 2014, you'd think its not all that difficult to handle NA/EU players without requiring the player to delete and rename files themselves.

Its amazing what you can get away with by sticking the word 'beta' before a game. Even this close to release.

I would keep the folder just in case, you can try removing it, see what happens and put it back if you need to.
 
Right, I *think* I have my one sorted, I can log in at least, I *assume* I am on the EU one.

However, the missus one still has problems, launcher starts, has a play option, but if you click play it just hangs. Also, on the launcher, the settings dont work, you click them, does nothing.
