Provisionally, yes. I haven't really looked into the sourcing components side of the O2 so don't know much about it, but aren't there alternatives on Farnell for most things?

I've not tried any other sites, but I have looked at mouser's site as it was fairly easy to copy and paste the product id codes from the bill of materials.

I've tried to save the basket so hopefully this link will work (I've not double checked my entries so if anyone uses this link please check it includes the correct components/quantities if you plan on placing an order). https://uk.mouser.com/ProjectManager/ProjectDetail.aspx?AccessID=b712481c1a

How much is postage?

How hard would the o2 amp be to build for a relative newbie.

I have the gear, and have knocked up headphone cables.

I've always fancied having a go at something like this, and i have plenty of cardas solder at hand.

If people are still interested in early Jan I'm happy to organise a group buy for o2 components, I'll post again to see what people are thinking then.

How hard is it to get hold of a board? I've had a quick google and nothing seems to point to any people supplying regularly. Is it just a case of people selling a batch when they make a few and having to pick one up then? :)

There's a guy in Germany currently doing a group buy for O2 amps and is shipping to UK. Here's the link: http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/group-buys/201323-o2-amplifier-kit-pcb-groupbuy-worldwide.html

I've decided to hold on for the Desktop version of the O2 with integrated DAC now as nwavguy has posted more details and it seems perfect for what I need!

Result, I've put my name down for a component kit. Still willing to do a group buy for folk on here but the offer on that site makes it seem not worth bothering with as it's very good!

So I've recently bought myself an Arduino kit. Always been into electronic gubbins. Made a few mini projects involving LEDs and a temperature sensor and light sensor, and a 4x20char LCD display which is cool. Just need to improve my programming knowledge now! Gonna order a 220v relay so I can control mains equipment, and I fancy some super-bright white LEDs

What cool projects have people created with Arduino? :)

He said he'll be ordering in batches of 40 kits. So if you don't put your name down in time for the first 40 then you'll have to wait till he orders again.

Yeah I'd get in there quick tbh. Cost me just over £26 for all the components inc postage, it was going to be very similar to that to order all the individual parts and split the postage between 5 people.

I really have an itch to put my name down! I know I'll regret it though as the desktop version which will be out in a few months will suit me much better. I just want something to build!
