**** Official Fallout 4 MODS Thread ****

Devious, Would you be able to provide me the DropBox link also?

This is only visual changes right? (Not wanting to mess around with interface/maps etc since it will be my first play-through)

Edit: Sent you a trust

Sent :)

Drop the lot into steamapps\common\Fallout 4

Alternative ini files in there too which gives more bloom. /contrast

Yes they are only visual changes.

I can't believe I've been playing Fallout 4 for months without ENBoost... :o I used to swear by those .ini tweaks back in my Skyrim days.

Still need a more powerful cpu though... My X4 760k really isn't happy about the whole affair, especially not a 1440p. :D

I've got a Q6600 clocked at 3.2GHz and a 7950 at 1000/1400 and monitoring shows 100% load on all 4 cores and the GPU much of the time at 1920x1080, even with godrays really off (ini tweaks) and the texture optimisation project mod installed and Afterburner used for voltage and power use tweaks to enable the 7950 to stay at 1GHz 100% load without being throttled. The game seems unusually demanding. I'm not getting enough fps when building.

Maybe it's time to buy a new PC, since upgrading my current one would require replacing most of it.

You all probally already spotted this mod but thought I put it here as well, just incasae. :p

Unofficial Fallout 4 Patch by Unofficial Patch Project Team

A comprehensive bugfixing mod for Fallout 4. The goal of the Unofficial Fallout 4 Patch (aka UFO4P) is to eventually fix every bug with Fallout 4 not officially resolved by the developers to the limits of the Creation Kit and community-developed tools, in one easy-to-install package.

Features:
- Hundreds of gameplay, quest, NPC, object, item, text and placement bugs fixed.
- Created by the authors of the Unofficial Oblivion and Skyrim Patch series.
- No unsafe changes (such as deletions of stock objects).
- Designed to be compatible with as many other mods as possible.

Crazy DDProductions83 has made another mod, aimed towards those of you that has problem with the settlements building limit. :p

Increased Build Limit Enhanced 4K by DDProductions83

Adds a activation option to increase your build limit on a per workstation basis. Clean with about a 0% chance of compatability issues. Edits nothing directly and should work with all DLC (Provided Bethesda used the correct Keywords which I am pretty sure they did)
4 Options are avaialable, default is 10x build limit, there is a 5x, 15x, and 20x variant as well.
I highly recommend this over my other ESP infinite build mod, you can simply uninstall the old one and install this one and activate your workshop. The old one edited vanilla containers, this does not.

Is anyone willing to do a full up to date good/bad whatever mods write up so I Can add them to the op with credit to the poster?

Haven't played Fallout 4 for ages now

Here is some suggestions:

First one is a given one. ;)
Unofficial Fallout 4 Patch by Unofficial Patch Project Team

This next two ones I find really useful, especially the DEF_UI one, makes the UI so much better then the game one, which honestly shucks ! lol .. Also this UI can be very well customized, remove everything if you want, move things to different lovastions on the screen etc. Well worth checking out I think !
Interface - DEF_UI by Neanka and Valdacil

Sorting Mod to go with interface above (or pick another recommended sorting mod from the DEF_UI's mod page :) ) - Valdacil's Item Sorting by Valdacil

This mod I found very useful for me, since it align the shadows in all the menus, making it look cleaner when playing on a 21:9 screen :) - FO4-Wrench by rhoot

Armor and Weapon Keywords Community Resource (AWKCR) by Valdacil and Gambit77
Purpose
---------------------
This resource accomplishes the following things:
1) Creates a standardized framework for armor and cosmetics keywords for mod authors to prevent conflicts
2) Standardizes armor and cosmetics slot usage to prevent conflicts (contributed by all major cosmetics mod authors).
3) Creates a standard armor and weapons workbench to be utilized for crafting items added by mods.
4) Adds a standard ma keyword for use by weapon modders, a set of OMODs for damage upgrades for blade weapons, and dn keywords for Tactical Light, Laser Sight, & Tactical Light/Laser Sight combo OMODs. The release of Weaponsmith Extended will demonstrate how to replace ma keyword filtering for mod weapons with a GetEquipped condition. This was set up so that people can use lots of mod weapons without using up a bunch of the very limited amount of ma keywords that we have available before hitting the cap and causing the mod menu category formlist cap/ invisible robot bug.
5) Adds sorting keywords for weapon calibers to make it easier for weapon modders to set up their gun mods for dynamic sorting.

Mod Users
---------------------
Mods you have installed may require this file as a base resource. Simply download and install the mod using the standard installation methods. If you do not have any mods that require this resource, installing this mod will have no effect on your game.
Get a big pop up box when settlement is under attack - Shaikujin's Better warning for settlements being attacked by Shaikujin

If you want your settlements looking less cluttered - Spring Cleaning by Nverjos

And this one is in first post but thought I add it as well - Wearable Backpacks and Pouches by Aldebaran90 and Stndmunki

This one to be added under the Fix Home Plate floor, it's to make the whole ground floor the same - Fix Home Plate Floor - Extended by WardenWolf

As for others in first post, guess be good keeping them all, the Full Dialogue Interface for example, I would have gone nuts if that mod hadn't come along, can't stand the dumbed down wheel thingy. :o

Probably a bunch of others, DDProduction83 has loads of useful mods for settlement interested players. Hopefully others will add more to be listed. :)

Since I don't play survival I forgot about some mods that can be good to have on the front page.

SURVIVAL QUICK SAVE - No Sleep Till Bedtime by Gopher
A simple mod that adds an item to the AID section of your pipboy called QUICK SAVE. You can hotkey this item and when you use it, it will save your game even in Survival difficulty. That is it. No more having to roleplay a narcoleptic or someone with a worrying bed fetish. You sleep when you are tired or it is night time and save when you like.

The mod uses the autosave system and by default only saves 3 saves, over writing the oldest ones as new ones are made. If you wish to extend this you can add the following lines to Fallout4Custom.ini

[SaveGame]
iAutoSaveCount=x

Where X is the number of saves you want to keep.
Survival Mode Console by Zion9876
Survival Mode Console.

Well I was really disappointed when they turned off the console.
So I turned it back on!

This mod is changing one value only.
So the console can be enabled for survival mode.
