You mean Pip-boy? That's not a controller I don't think? You can get it on consoles too, I've pre-ordered one from GAME.

As I understand it the pip boy is a plastic holder for a smartphone and its the app on there it uses. I'm not sure what the app does as I've never looked into it but obviously the app works without the phone. It's just a way to out it on your wrist without duct tape. Although that probably hurts less
Yeah, you can get that for consoles too, but I was referring to the fact that a lot of stuff that comes out for games (like that controller for example) seems to be Xbox only, or at least released for the Xbox first before the PS4. Why is the Playstation always left out or behind? I seem to get this with every bit of tech I own, whether it's PS4 getting stuff late or not at all, or iOS getting certain apps months before Android (that I can understand). Bloody annoying though.
I'm sure I heard they have even made it possible to mod the Xbox version of the game straight away but not the PS4's or something like that? Meh.

You should be.
The story will be self-contained to this but additional lore and knowledge will help understand the point of Vaults etc. Katuku is a good place for stuff like this, usually release articles like "Things to know" before Fallout 4 etc.

Tbh the game usually includes a lot of the lore and backstory if you look hard enough and do some reading and side quests.

Attack dog to improve dogmeat however I also like lone wanderer a lot but those two completely contradict each other yet are ranks 4 and 5 in charisma
