*** Official Fallout 4 - No Spoilers Allowed ***

The leaked video don't look all that but then again it's very very heavily compressed. The screenshots that were leaked look so much better, they are not as badly compressed.

I think it'll look pretty good considering the size of the game.

There's a lot of knee jerk reaction going about over some badly compressed xbox one video footage.

Ive seen the Ps4 screens too and it looks great. Can't wait to get stuck into it. And I'm keeping my pre order.

Exactly not worried at all, a heavily compressed video of Xbox One copy aint going to make me change my mind. PS4 screenshots looked good, i bet it'll look much better than the video leaked.

Not been following this at all but may pick it up, only dabbled in 3 and vegas but the visuals felt dated even at the time which put me off even though its not about that! Have since retried them on pc with mods but i just end up screwing the game up :)

Any idea when reviews will hit? Not sure to get on console or pc atm!

Think I'm going to go PS4 and then PC in the steam winter sale - just in case it has any issues like Batman

tbh i dont think you have to worry about fallout on pc, batman was terrible but that was Warner, and they also screwed up the pc mortal kombat! i believe Fallout will be fine

only reason im thinking console is that i have £50 on a gift card for Game from some past trade ins, could spend it on steam funds but that hurts now as i usually buy from cdkeys at a much better price!

it looks like they have made the shooting better so maybe it doesnt rely on VATS, never liked that system

Why do people assume that a console version is going to work perfectly? I've seen this numerous times. Console versions of games can be terrible at times, too(FO3, New Vegas and Skyrim all had numerous issues on consoles, in case you've forgotten).

Definitely go PC for Bethesda games. It would be foolish not to.

I'm going console because I'm currently getting no end of problems with most games I play on PC and frankly I don't want to spend my week off fixing my PC when I can (hopefully) just play it fine on ps4.

Got to agree. I've been getting a lot of problems PC gaming lately. I think deep down I need a better rig. But its so expensive (oh oh can of worms) and I've got a ps4 so if I was to buy fallout 4 it would have to be ps4 at this time due to the problems PC gaming has given me recently.

To be honest, I think gaming laptops are trouble anyhow. So that sorta limits me, don't ask how I ended up with a gaming laptop , long story but to this day I knew deep down it's not the ideal way to PC game .. And its now a three year old laptop and impossible to upgrade....

Overall though PC versions generally take at least one patch to bring the game up to the standard you'd expect on release, especially on cross platform games.

I've no doubt it will run fine on PC and no doubt my PC will handle it perfectly but not wanting to start a console/master race debate - if you buy a triple AAA title like this on console (think its £39.99 on the rainforest) it generally holds value longer than it does on PC and you often can't get a new copy for less than the initial price for a considerable period of time. When I come to buy it on PC to take advantage of mods I'll both know the game fairly well and the price come christmas time will undoubtedly be IRO £15-25.

(Even GTA which held its price very well on PC is going for £20-25 now.)

I want to go PC with this, but the fact is I just don't want to sit at my desk to play the game for hours on end.

I know it will look and run miles better but I just can't bring myself to buy it on PC.

I think people get to hung up on graphics.....this is more like fallout 3.5, and thats a good thing!

theres nothing revolutionary going on..it will be safe

they have taken what was great about fallout 3 and ran with it, but with the benefits of more powerful consoles and more memory. it will be familiar to all those that love fallout 3, but the last consoles were very limited in terms of memory.

just soak in the world and wander to your hearts content!

Exactly - let's stop worrying about it and see what happens.

By all means get angry when the game ships and is unplayable. It's like getting annoyed with your car because the engine could blow up, just because it has on other cars.

I disagree about it being "3.5". It looks much more like a true sequel in terms of graphical improvement and narrative direction than any other ass creed, cod, bf, uncharted, etc, etc, franchise game that gets released almost annually.
