*** Official Fallout 4 - No Spoilers Allowed ***

Watched an unboxing video of the pip-boy edition... it's going to be massive. The box will probably turn into a whisky and glass store if my bottles fit in it!
 
The thing that really bothers me about Game is, they're an absolute shambles of a company this is no secret to anybody. It's the fact they somehow continue to get exclusivity to collector editions and DLC on release, basically this forces a lot of die hard fans of a particular franchise to purchase from them.
 
I think I have been charged twice for my PipBoy edition. Both different amounts though - £99.99 and another £83.32?

Will wait and see if it gets shipped before querying...just in case the email is a mistake. Knowing GAME they would probably refund me both amounts and cancel my order
 
Last month GAME's stock of gift cards ran dry - reportedly after one store manager ordered the entire chain's stock, a claim that GAME itself refuted after replacement stock was then sent out.

Haha, I was in a GAME store the other day and a lady asked for a gift card, GAME's response was "Sorry, they are out of stock". I had a little chuckle to myself, and the the lady seemed to shrug it off like it wasn't a problem. But when you think about it, it's absurd. Now, the above makes more sense. :D
 
I was in Game Glasgow at lunchtime and was told they already have it in stock...locked up in the back room! So near yet so far..

As harsh as this is to put loads on the unemployment market. It's kinda true. They are a dreadful company, their prices are dreadful .... Last time I went into a game was to get copy of batman lego 3 and the guy in the store attempted to get me to trade up my existing consoles for an x1. I went along with it to see what utter bull he fed me, it was very cringe worthy. Walked out empty handed..

Amazon are good for pre orders I find.
 
They've really lost their way I've felt. Even trade-ins, which they used to be reasonable for, are a total farce now. I can usually still beat the trade in value on eBay, even including the fees and postage costs included.

I've only ordered the Pip-Boy edition from GAME because of lack of choice.

Annoying to say, appears game still has some influences in the videos game retailers market and are able to secure exclusive marketing deals.

They was at one time a big player in the vidoes games market. As noted. Their trade in deals used to be fairly good. Ironically I tend to buy psn top up cards from CD keys and buy all my games digitally recently meaning even if their trade up prices / deals were still good I couldn't take advantage anyhow.

Could be just that game are now a dinosaur in the gaming arena. I actually think most in the know gamers are using digital or online retailers more. It's only the exclusive deals for die hard fans that seems to keep those in the know going to them, and again even more ironic is they have messed fallout 4 up. What a sorry show eh?
