Tell me about it. I think I need to cut down my boomerang rentals. Have Fifa, Halo and COD that I pre-ordered. Also have WWE2K16 and Tales of Zestiria on rental! With Fallout and BF inbound, what do I do? Totally on the hype wagon for them all though. No way I could wait :p

What platform? PSN I know for sure it'll pre load and you can play midnight as done that with a few psn digital pre orders.

And yes. Too many top games, but it is the holidays and to be expected.

Well for me, I've had to simply cancel a fair few games I've had on pre-order, I will not have the time to play them so I might as well wait for them to be discounted! :cool:

I know what you mean though, it's easy to get excited for all of the decent games and stick on a few pre-orders here and there.

Yeah, PSN mate. That's good then, I doubt I'll play it at midnight but what I might do is wake up and hour earlier than usual and get it started. Not decided yet, it's £49.99 for the digital version and that leaves a sour taste in my mouth. Having said that, I do prefer a digital library to flick between games on the fly. Decisions decisions.
 
Get psn cards on CD kegs, cheaper and offsets the exta £10 it'll cost via digital psn. Cause you have no resale value but I suspect a game like fallout 4 you'll be playing for hours so hopefully you won't want it sell it anytime soon..
 
Problem being (if you can call it a problem), is that I have £75.00 in my PSN wallet from various places already (I think one was from CDKeys and another I bought from a forum member at a discount). I just don't want to spank it on this game, when I already have the physical copy on order from Amazon for £29.99 (got it on a deal). FWP's and all that, but I'm not sure which way to go. I also have the Pipboy and soundtrack editions, at this rate I'll be lumbered with 4 copies of this game!

You're right though, it'll be a game I probably won't sell, and the hours I put into it will be colossal. I won't be as excited for a game release until the FFVII remake after FO4 lands.
 
I have had payment taken from Game for my copy, but its very odd. It's been ordered through my mates account, he ordered a copy for the Xbox one, it was reduced from £47.99 to 44.99 yet he hasn't paid, and is being billed £47.99.

Mine is for the PS4 which again was £47.99 reduced to £44.99 but they have taken £36.71 and the online store says the same, even tho it says it should be £44.99. No idea what Game are upto, and he has been on hold for 20mins now.

Your first paragraph in particular I have seen a lot of complaints about on their Twitter and Facebook, not honouring their price guarantee. Their chat service is constantly offline, when you call they never seem to pick up the phone (people saying they've been on hold for as long as an hour before giving up) and when you tweet their help desk their average response time seems to be 5 days later.

I think there are going to be an awful lot of unhappy people come launch, Game seem to be collapsing under the pressure with Blops 3 and FO4 so close together. I will genuinely be amazed if my copy/guide arrives on time.

Managed after 20mins or so to speak to Game, they seem to have had a glitch, When we ordered the game it should have taken a £10 deposit which it did not, Game says it did so they are refunding £8.28 to include the price change or something to degree.

This means it was £47.99 dropped to £44.99 minus the £8.28 odd which brings it to the £36.71 they are processing payments today and tomorrow, but hopefully we have got it for a bargain :cool:

Speaking of their chat service, had to use that recently due to an issue and it also said it was offline. I think their might be an issue with either chrome or an addon, because trying a different broswed showed it as online and I was able to chat, bit weird.

Not really sure what to think about this having seen the actual gameplay now... I think i'll just carry on working through Fallout New Vegas.
I might pick fallout 4 up once I've completed that, honestly can't see what the excitement is about now.

So you're playing through New Vegas and suggesting FO4 looks like last gen?! :confused: :D

Well, it doesn't, but even if it did the gameplay and story are what the Fallout games are about. FO3 and FO:NV never looked brilliant compared to other games in the same generation plus it didn't even run that well at times. Never bothered me one bit (expect that game breaking bug in NV...).
 
If any of you use Flubbit, you can get it price matched and delivered for £34.97 on PS4 although no idea on how the delivery will be as it's through gameseek.
