*** Official Fallout 4 - No Spoilers Allowed ***

lord no..I was just referencing the internet in general, and gaming sites in particular

As so was I ... No one in the thread has behaved like neogaf of the Internet in general.. I can be touchy at times, so do understand why he posted what he did. He only mentioned something posted on neogaf. But the neogaf thread is just horrible to read.

Thankfully here at Ocuk no one generally behaves like they do elsewhere...

Not really bothered as I have cod to play but I did order from them based on comments about extra early delivery and I paid a bit more thinking this. Still saying that my postman hasn't been yet.
My order status said it got despatched yesterday but I can't see how being a sunday, so it was posted Saturday or today.

Oddly my psn pre order hasn't started. Which is odd so I'm maybe in the same boat lol

Yeah they said they had been instructed by the developers not to send it out before today. Simply games are normally early, although Fifa for me was a day late i had Black Ops 3 a day earlier as well.

/edit. Think the embargo is being released today at some point.

Hyperbole, this all started over on neogaf. No doubt there might be some issue in certain areas, but then you get loads jumping on the bandwagons. Screaming bloody murder etc.. Then you get the fanboys and their trolling saying how superior their chosen machine is, then those saying swapping my pre order from ps4 to xbone based on comments no one has truly confirmed , and I would say if it does happen it will most likely be patched.

Knee jerk reactions born out of Internet comments which has no real substantial evidence to say what is really happening...

Gamers, such a bunch we really are...
Yup. I remember when Dead Rising 3 first came out with its "unplayable" FPS issues which had the PS fanboys laughing so hard. It had a few issues for sure, but it was never unplayable and I barely noticed the issues when I was engrossed in the game. Considering Fallout isn't anywhere near as fast paced as Dead Rising (where FPS drops would be much more obvious) I suspect I'll have the same experience here as well.

I've not played Fallout for a long time, so can't quite remember well, how the perks and talents etc works / which ones compliment each other.I never play a sneaky sneaky devious rogue-esque character, so was thinking of doing that on my first playthrough.

Where would be best to stick my SPECIAL points in? Can anyone also remind me, do you start with a certain number to invest in your base "SPECIAL" and you can invest more into it later?

IGN review is up BUT i can't get on it, the site is really slow.

9/10

THE GOOD

A dense world with a wide range of curious characters and locations
Great hybrid combat system
Your choices have a major impact on the story
A huge number of quests and rewards
Intuitive creation tools
Thought-provoking narrative

THE BAD

Companions are difficult to manage
Lackluster inventory management and world map
Average graphics and some glitches to contend with

90% average so far

But that's not the whole story. On top of this, Xbox One is unique in its suffering of a stuttering issue, halting the game experience for up to a second during play. It's a glaring hitch downward, and matching runs to the gates of Diamond City shows Xbox One dropping to a record 0fps (zero) while PS4 turns the same corner at 28fps.

That's that then, I'll pick up the Fallout 3 GOTY edition for a tenner and buy this on PS4.

For sneaky characters you'd generally want fairly high perception and agility. I believe that has an impact on your sneaking skill. It generally doesn't matter too much though, your perks have a greater impact than your SPECIAL does.

Cheers DP.
I was thinking Agility / Luck / Intelligence, might try and change latter to perception.

Just a warning for anyone who has set their pre-order to download automatically - mine didn't start because I needed to take a system update, and while I did have auto updates enabled I didn't have them enabled for system updates. Once I took the system update the auto download of FO4 started.
