Seems a little underwhelming in a few areas from watching that IGN review. I get that this isn't supposed to be a stunning showcase of graphics but they are quite shockingly bad compared to something like the Witcher 3.

On the flip side, as good as The Witcher 3 looks, the game is completely flat to me. I couldn't get into it, and playing it felt like a bit of a chore.

Hence, how it looks is almost irrelevant, so long as it's better than the last Bethesda epic.

The Bethesda RPGs have never been known for their graphics so I was never expecting anything great. It looks better than Fallout 3 and New Vegas, that'll do me

I think PC is where this game will shine the most, without going into the whole PC vs console debate, with better hardware and more notably, the community creating skins and textures for it like they did to improve Fallout 3.

They are still pretty awful all things considered. There is no reason why they can't do both. Bethesda are a huge studio with a massive budget and a guaranteed huge fanbase that will buy their game.

There's your answer most likely. They know it will sell millions of copies regardless.

Until they get publicly called out on it they will never change.

As I read on GAF the fact that people say about the PC release date to wait for the community to fix it speaks volumes.

EA/DICE got called out for BF, as have other people, but these guys get a pass on everything. It's just blind faith by their fans.

I'm kinda glad mine hasn't showed up yet, I'm working yet more overtime tonight and I won't be leaving until at least 8pm I think, and it'd be torture to have it sat here with me all evening. I can happily entertain myself with MGS5 for another night.
