**** Official Fallout 4 Thread ****

Just for people using Sli I got it working using this tweak the other fix's people have been saying didn't work for me but this has.

Using Nvidia inspector go to fallout 4 if you are using lastest driver.
Change Sli compatibility bit (DX1x) to 0x080202F5 (Batman : Arkham city)

Then in the Nvidia control panel add a profile for fallout 4 then change sli rendering mode to : Force alternate frame rendering 2

Getting a solid 60 fps at 3440x1440 now were I was get huge fps drop before :) now I can real run this weekend

What cards have you got bud? Seen various workarounds for the 700 series but they don't seem to work with 980ti's.

I just did an epic dungeon. Got a normal job to clear out some raiders from a mine. Ended up seeing ghostly visions, fighting loads of legendary ghouls and funding s ton of brilliant gear! It was really spooky.

I got a really special knife at the end of it too, but unfortunately I don't really have the build to make good use of it.

I had to relent and buy this as my Son wanted it. I am stunned at how bad the textures and general look is.

How are Bethesda getting away with this?

Because its a fantastic game and graphics aren't everything?

I also don't think it looks that bad at all.

Remember the place or quest name? Put in spoiler tags if you like.

Sure. It was

a minuteman job called trouble at green top nursery.

The story behind the quest is brilliant and something you have to discover for yourself. It has easily been the best part of the game for me so far... Dare I say it is even reminiscent of Vault 11 from New Vegas(my favourite dungeon ever)

+1

I've also noticed how the majority of titles with top level graphics have awful gameplay. Majority of people only buy them for GPU benchmarking :p

Everytime I use a computer terminal I get stuck. Kinda breaks the game

Did you unlock your fps limit?

I had to limit mine to 120, doesn't like 144.

^^^Yeah that is the place name if you just want to go there. I am not sure if everyone will get the Minutemen quest to go there as it might be part of the radiant quest system?

.

Would decent graphics and decent gameplay be too much to ask from a seasoned developer and a AAA title costing £40?

It's not too much to ask for.

It is a bit much to demand, though.

Also noticed that the people actually playing the game seem to not find the graphics as offensive as all the pre-release hubbub indicated it would be.
