Yup, comparing 2 of my own images it seems to add extra grass clumps, not rocks and more details on cars though.

Also are the people complaining of low FPS using windowed borderless mode? Just tried it so I could alt tab easily and I lose 20fps in windowed mode.

Get 60fps solid everything ultra fullscreen, dropped as low as 35 in windowed mode and was choppy as hell.

Yep it's in Windowed Borderless mode here, didn't even realise  Will try Fullscreen later, cheers for that tip ;)

Yes I am, is this causing the issue? Autosave has just make me go back about 20 mins, really need to get back into the habit of saving all the time.

I had this problem which I have heard is caused by the mod. In my case, I uninstalled the game and started fresh - but it did keep my saves, though I made a copy just in case. I guess you could try just removing the mod first and see what happens.

FALLOUT 4 PERFORMANCE ISSUES

Just downloaded fallout and having severe performance issues, even on low quality setting lag is unbearable if there is even a small bit of movement??? The sound lags behind the action too

Using a Gigabyte P35w with a Gtx 870m
and 8gb of ram?
Hoped i could play this on medium but its looking pretty unplayable even on low.. Any ideas?

Thanks, I'll remove the mod and see if it cures it.

I'd have thought it fine on that as i'm playing it perfectly at 1080p on a system very similar to the one in your sig which I presume is your old machine & I've got everything set to ultra apart from one of the shadow settings which is on high (have turned off AA though)

Really not enjoying the settlement building. Tried building a house in Sanctury it was a right faff on. No explanation of how power works, or how to get stairs and corner pieces to line up.

Despite the fact I couldn't get sucked in by this when I last posted & was disappointed i'm now loving it. The settlement building gives me a reason to go looking for stuff other than weapons & armour so it provides extra depth for me.

I went hunting for bits of scrap copper last night so that I could get lighting in my settlement, I never thought i'd play a game & be hunting through what I think was an old peoples home looking for lamps & fuses.

Yeah thats my old one wish I had kept that rig over this laptop :( Such a nice PC!

Going to try a driver update see if that fixes it

Hi everyone,

I am new here and just looking for a little help.

I am currently playing Fallout 4 on my PC at around Med/High settings, I sometimes get a little screen tear and FPS drops.

This is my current set up:

GPU - GeForce GTX750Ti
CPU - AMD FX 8350 Eight Core
Memory 8GB
Operating System - Win 10 Home

What can I upgrade to play fallout at High/Ulta settings at a steady 50-60 FPS.

Thanks for any help :)

Definitely your GPU. A 970 should be fine at 1080p.
