I wanted the Justice shotgun so killed the hippy who was looking for the girl and sided with the Covenant. I'm now a morally corrupt shotgun owner :D

Got the same problem as you though, 3 turrets and a barricade yet my defence is in the red.
 
I've just experienced my first major bug, and I don't mean a legendary radroach. I noticed whilst playing that the pipboy was no longer appearing when called, so I exited the game. Now it refuses to start. I've tried verifying files, restarting steam and my comp. Nowt. Bugger.
 
Hi all been playing for a little while, my first fallout game!

Just been building up my base at sanctuary hill and want to know if anyone is wishing to share any pictures?
 
I've downloaded the Codex Edition (lol) to check how it runs and plays. Played about 2hrs, uninstalled it and plan to get a legit copy somewhere down the road. I already see myself enjoying the game a bit more than The Witcher 3, mainly because the exploration and fighting are a lot more fun.

However, wouldn't it be wiser to wait for some patches etc.? It mostly runs at 60fps with godrays on low (1440p, everything else maxed) but there's slight choppiness to the movements for whatever reason. I'd want to have a relatively bug-free experience, if that's even possible (Bethesda:p).

I'm in no rush to get it as I won't have time to play much and already have three titles to finish.

Those who have the game, does it get better or worse later on?

I killed everyone as I really liked honest Dan and while the girl was actually a synth in the end she hadn't done anything malicious that I had heard so I had no problem with her. The Covenant guys had killed loads of innocent people by the looks of their base and the doctor was an absolute ********.

The existing turrets are technically hostile that's why they don't show for you. If you place any turrets inside they will target those ones. I left them as I liked the way the area looks with those turrets on the walls, you just have to place your turrets in front of the main door so they don't shoot them.

That was by far the most difficult decision I've had to make in this game mind. I reloaded multiple times before I decided on which way to go. I was quite impressed with the quest myself, and I think a charisma option for a third way out would have been a cop out for the quest imo. It had real consequence which I liked.

I see what you mean, though when you press scroll lock to switch between the two, aliasing looks more apparent, imo. Of course, there's many settings to tinker with yet.

Edit : Yep, prefer it to TAA. No blurry textures like walls now.

I selected the Fallout4 file that doesn't say 'launcher'. Not sure if I was right, though all seems well so far.
 
Hi everyone,

I am new here and just looking for a little help.

I am currently playing Fallout 4 on my PC at around Med/High settings, I sometimes get a little screen tear and FPS drops.

This is my current set up:

GPU - GeForce GTX750Ti
CPU - AMD FX 8350 Eight Core
Memory 8GB
Operating System - Win 10 Home


What can I upgrade to play fallout at High/Ulta settings at a steady 50-60 FPS.

Thanks for any help :)
 
Just downloaded fallout and having severe performance issues, even on low quality setting lag is unbearable if there is even a small bit of movement??? :(:(:(

Using a Gigabyte P35w witha Gtx 870m and 8gb of ram? Hoped i could play this on medium but its looking pretty unplayable.. Any ideas?

I can't see any difference other than the finer detail with the blur reduced.

Just popped the no AA and TAA images through a comparator and told it to ignore any anti aliasing and theres quite a bit. Looks like a lot of foliage is extra and also rocks have appeared out of nowhere.

I'll upload the comparison tomorrow as my net is on the blink right now and cant cope with uploading anything :(

Going to fire the game up with diff settings though and do my own comparison of whether AA affects details though.
