I just ran in shooting from the hip with a modded auto shotty,going for Sinjin first.Took a few attempts as i kept getting swamped by him and the named guy on the balcony

Some of the visual stories in some locations are amazing if you look for them.

Cait moans that I read/hack every terminal and just wants to kill stuff and get high :(. Not sure whether it makes them dislike you if you do stuff they dont like? Seems to be taking forever to get her to like me.
 
I've got no idea where Dogmeat is?! Is there a way to call back - he has a load of my gear on him :(

He's not at Sanctuary - I've moved the doghouse that he usually ends up in to right outside my digs, so I don't have to keep looking for him. He wasn't there before I moved the house anyway.

Any ideas?
 
I'm getting sick of the crashing now, I'm 19 hours in and like yesterday I'm getting a series of crashes that force a PC reboot. I had three in an hour yesterday and then none in the next 2 hours of gameplay, I've had my second in an hour today and it's happening during a particularly hard area. It's really annoying and takes all the fun out of it..

I also haven't seen or been able to find the dog in some time. Wonder what he's up to. Useless git.
 
Are people putting up with the blur of TAA, or putting up with the jaggies of SMAA?

I'm using SMAA at the moment because the blur of TAA is crazy bad IMO.

He'll be in the dog house in sanctuary normally, or wherever you sent him to. You can craft a bell (defense->misc) which will call all residents to it, handy for finding companions in a big settlement.

Or... If you've done the kellog quest he got stuck for me outside the fort and i had to manually send him home.
 
thought id have a change... so last night had over 5000 minigun ammo.. got my suit and went on a carnage for about 4 hours.. was sooooooooooooooooooooo fun! full modded minigun is pretty awesome!
 
Fallout 4 Crash Help

Hi,

Ive been having a problem with fallout 4 crashing. It just randomly crashes, usually after an hour or two. It was a mix between my display driver crashing and just crashes to desktop. I sorted the display driver crashes by unintalling evga precision X and i have reinstalled all nvidia drivers and nvidia experience.
I have just had a crash where the game just froze and i had to restart my pc.

Ive checked the event logs and there is nothing indicating its a driver crash like some of the others.

Im using the SLI rendering set to 2, so im not sure if its maybe something to do with that. Ive not heard of anyone else with the same problem though.

Has anybody got any ideas on something i can try to fix this ?

Funny, I just had my first freeze crash as well.

Reminds me of the massive issue with FO3 crashing. I really hope this is not a sign of things to come.

I know, I was thinking the same thing. I've just gave my memory a test to see if it was something to do with that but it's completely fine. Can't find a hardware issue now so I'm beginning to think it's just the game or driver.
 
Decided to stop exploring for a bit today and did a few BoS quests...think tomorrow ill start building my base at the red rocket station....or scrap that and head upto sanctuary and do it there
 
I understand your frustration, but we already have a Fallout 4 thread, please use that.

As it happens I have similar crashes, it's a Bethesda game (most likely a memory leak), save often. (And make sure steam overlay is disabled in game).

From what I've read, using the console stops any achievements until you restart the game. Worth restarting, it only takes a few seconds.

Just had my first FO3 style freeze crash. Hopefully isolated.

SMAA via SweetFX. I tried TAA again yesterday and quickly put SMAA back on.
 
What did everyone do with Covenant?

I just let them get on with it. Disappointingly once more no charisma options to solve it any way other than kill everyone or do nothing.

I have Covenant as a settlement now, bit annoyingly it says the have 0 defence even though they have loads of turrets about.
