**** Official Fallout 4 Thread ****

NMM has been udated from what I read and you can now use profiles in NMM as well, similar as to MO. Don't qoute me on it though since I not used NMM myself, only from what little I read here and there.

Indeed this is correct, NMM is now a very viable tool for handling a lot of mods where as before it wasn't very good. MO is still good and I will probably use it over NMM when it's changed to 64 bit as I don't plan to mod until my first play through it completed anyway! :p

Can you still use the in game pipboy as well? I kinda rely on it pausing the game so I can peruse my enormous list of weapons mid fight.

You can. I only use the mobile Pipboy when the bug crops up that makes the in-game one disappear. Just be aware you have to turn on the option to use it in the game settings then restart before your device will pick up your PC as a playable platform.

Shall have to get that dialogue mod when I get home, not that I mind the wheel too much but I prefer the more traditional one and I suspect when the GECK gets released it'll be one of those mods that's required for just about any quest/companion mod.

Any one met Ness yet?

I didn't have the persuasion skill to convince her. So I just killed her and her merc mates and took all the loot for myself :D

Can anyone who has dipped into the modding tell me - does Mod Organiser work for Fallout 4? I never got around to trying it over NMM for Skyrim or FO:NV but really liked the sound of it and thought I'd give it a go this time...

Assuming it does work for Fallout 4 - I think I remember people saying it used sort of like "profiles" so does that mean if I wanted to have one "Vanilla" (unmodded) profile and one "Testing" (modded) profile I can easily switch between them before launching the game etc?

I'd like to finish off my existing playthrough without mods but also can't resist checking some of the mods out as they develop (and I want to do it without mucking up my save)

I dont think NMM is logging into Fallout 4 yet,I think its to early

She's the one who has the hidden loot in the plane cargo right? I didn't have the charisma at the time so just took the caps, (but curiousity got the better of me so I quicksaved and used unlock console command to see what was in there :p) reloaded after though.)

Not sure if this been posted, can't recall seeing it but if it has, sorry for double post. Just thought you guys might be interested in reading it incase you not seen it.

Bethesda forum users report that a specific quest line in Fallout 4 is causing the game to crash without warning on all major platforms, preventing any more progress.

...so bongo, bongo, bongo, I don't wanna leave the Congo, oh no no no no no
Bingo, bangle, bungle, I'm so happy in the jungle, I refuse to go... :p

That dialogue mod looks great, really makes me wonder why Bethesda doesn't including something similar in the first place to make both parties happy, unless they're really intent on shoving the new dialogue system down your throat :o

Nice that the modder made a gamepad version for the dialogue mod. Works great and is a real improvement.

For those of you that have 21:9 monitors and not been visiting the WSGF forums, here is a fix that been uploaded to Nexus.

This file makes several adjustments to the UI for 2560x1080 and 3440x1440 resolutions to make it a bit more bearable until a proper fix comes along. Thanks to Haldi and all the other posters at wsgf.org for sharing their knowledge, the only thing I did was cobble together what they discovered.

5760x1080 and other triple wide resolution fixes can be found in the multi-monitor gaming forum at wsgf.org

Im really looking forward to using that conversation mod later.

And I've been testing out the Stuttering and Memory patch ENBoost mod and visually it has helped a lot as sharp textures are actually being loaded in now. Before I was shocked by some super low res textures that is was using randomly. Has definitely helped out my Gtx 470 a bit
