**** Official Fallout 4 Thread ****

ReShade Framework puts everything in an nice ui, it's straight forward and it works. Apply it and in game press scroll lock to switch between SweetFX and the default TAA to see how awful the TAA IQ is.

Just wont work for me. I get the white writing in the corner to say its active but when I toggle it nothing happens. I have the config tool as my launcher so which fallout do I add as the profile as there is 2 for fallout and 2 related to the config tool?

Have you adjusted the lumsharpen slider in the reshade framework tool?

Nothing happens

Well as you have the reshade writing appear when you open the game, that would indicate that it is working, so might be a setting you haven't changed. The guide says to put the sharp strength up to 2.5 in the lumsharpen menu, but I upped it a bit more.

Maybe the config tool is interfering somehow, I'm not sure.

just encountered the Mirelurk Queen at level 15...that was fun O_O

I hit that at level 14, it was a surprise but I didnt think it was that much of a challenge really, hit it with a mini nuke and then a few bursts from my high explosive .45 SMG and down it went. I can't actually remember for sure where I found that SMG but it is my best weapon (from a legendary enemy iirc).

I did die a couple of times, but both were my own stupid fault as I fired the fatman when she was too close.

I wasnt carrying a fatman / missile launcher or anything with really high damage with me though...playing quite stealthy and large explosions kinda ruin the element of surprise :p

played stealth in other fallout games but the gun mechanics and rifles are so much fun in this im going gun hoe with power armour explosives and mines are awesome fun...

Hahaha, met her around level 12 as well. Love doing side missions first. probably explains why my character is level 62 and I have only done 3 missions of the main campaign

I actually thought the mini-boss on that was the main boss so was unloading all my ammo into that. Kept losing a shed load of health from behind, turn around and see this lass looming over me. Needless to say I high-tailed it :p

Now armed with a Legendary Gauss that Randomly does more 50% extra damage over a base of 450. Needless to say been making short work of her sisters since :D

Time really flies playing this game. Just cleared Boston Library, wow there was a full scale battle going on in there between robots and about 20 supermutants I didn't know wtf was happening. Then went on and cleared the big chemical factory place, equally crazy in there too!

Plays like a dream on my system. A solid 60FPS .....

Maybe in the vault but once you get outside it wont hold 60. My Titan X/6700k wont hold 60 at those settings @1400p. I know its double the resolution but its also triple the GPU horse power. God rays dropped down makes a huge difference bud

Level 52, finished the main quest and just cracking on with the rest now, still keeps me coming back for more, maxed out on a lot of the perks now too, got 15 differently equiped power suits in my iron man esque room.

Clothing wise I've maxed out the armour I have with perks attached, can't really get hurt anymore and almost all enemies go down with one or two shots minus death claws etc.

Really really enjoying it though, probably going to play through again after the new assassins creed is finished.

At any res even lowering the settings my 980ti 4790k rig jumps wildly from its capped fps of 80 all the way down to 30 in the major city's.

Lowering shadows to medium gains some fps back but the game looks like an old ps2 game.
