**** Official Fallout 4 Thread ****

Got the nuke tooz, a bit disappointed by the quality of the materials, especially with the games inside, but it is cool all the same.

Someone told me they were metal, which is why I bought it... :(

It would have been nice but for £40 it was never going to be metal, mine will prob be staying in the box now anyway as I didn't figure it would come with a display box

I know people would be guessing but with everyone assuming this wont be that demanding, is it reasonable to think a 980ti OCd will be able to run this at 4k...?

At 4k I'm guessing you won't be hitting anywhere near 60fps unless you turn down a load of settings. Of course that's just my opinion, but I think we're still a long way off getting a single card to run 4k at solid 60fps.

Yeah maybe not 60fps but like 40-50fps with shadows turned down abit etc. Im hopeful anyway just ordered a 40" 4K TV with HDMI 2.0!

Yay just got an email from Game stating my pre order was within the first 10,000 so I get the T-shirt as well :)

Ive got the nuke but i was a bit disappointed as the plastic casing was all dented :(.

Cannot wait for Fallout 4 though! Got the Pip boy edition for PS4 on preorder and Steel case dition for PC.

Glad I got a 4790k + 290x + 16GB ram for dem mods :)

But yeah, I'm sure a 2700k will destroy it just fine.

Thought I had a very decent spec PC still but it's a little under the recommended specs. It's going to be a very expensive month!

Can't believe it's only a month away  A nice change of pace not having to wait years for a game to come out after it's original announcement.

System requirements basically mean nothing nowadays. They're woefully inaccurate, designed only for worst case scenarios. Take Battlefront for example. The "minimum" recommended GPU is supposedly a 7850 (which is what I'm currently running), yet I'm playing with high/ultra settings at 50-60fps.

I know they're two completely different games, but system requirements as a whole should rarely be used to finalise a decision on whether or not it'll run adequately enough for your liking on your PC.

Hopefully I won't still be rocking a GTX260 when this comes out... :p (sorting out a warranty replacement for my 780TI!)
