**** Official Fallout 4 Thread ****

I'd be quite tempted to build a zoo with that animal capture/taming DLC.

Far Harbor sounds like it could be quite a good side plot to explore, I quite like Maine so it'll be interesting to see what they've done with the area.

ok I am going to commit myself to the pc version of this and get the season pass for PC instead of PS4 which has been limiting me with my building
I am basically just building and scavenging anyway..and have a very nice skylake 6600k and gtx970 pc that is not really being taxed (I only play world of blimmin tanks on it at the moment), so I want to mod the game to build bigger settlements

so just bought pc version of fallout 4 and the season pass

so essential mods for bigger settlements?! this will make me very very happy

Last update (also mentioned in that post detailing DLC a page ago) was that they were in the process of testing the Creation Kit, along with a new survival mode for the game.

I'm hopeful we'll hear something concrete about the creation kit around the same time of the first DLC, scheduled for next month.

How much do you guys use power armour in this game out of interest?

I didn't use it at all for about the first 15-20 hours but since then (I'm now at about the 40 hour mark) I've used it non-stop because I have so many spare cores. I was worried it might affect stealth quite badly but it doesn't seem to even do that! I was playing last night and I was crawling about a pitch black high rise parking block and no less than 7-8 ghouls ran directly past me without so much as a second look - and I had my headlamp on!!

I've just reached Level 28 and unlocked Science! Rank 3 as well so I think I'm on the cusp of the really OP torso mods.

Is there really any reason not to use power armour, or is it purely aesthetics? I do wish there was a toggle for helmet off for conversations... I haven't seen my characters face since the start of the game!

You can get the season pass from GMG for £20 with their 20% off code, which is cheaper than CDkeys as they have put their prices up as per usual .

I can't decide whether to get it or not though as most season passes have been money grabbing rubbish in my experience, but I also don't want to wait years for the new price in March to go back down to a reasonable amount if it is good.

I used it in that first bit that you are forced to and then never again. I am already too over powered and it just seems a chore to use it.

I like collecting and customising them, but I only ever wear it one if I fancy a change. I have 20 of them now. I've actually ran out of space in my Red Rocket base so I'll either have to relocate or or expand the base again!

Looking to do a bit of underwater exploring later guys, any tips on what to wear? Isn't there a scuba suit in game? If there is, sum 60 or so hours in, I've not come across it yet.

Thanks for the responses people! Are we saying that there is no scuba kit as such? I think you had to have a rebreather equipped in NV to stay under water.

I find power armour too cumbersome to use for prolonged periods underwater. I'll look out for the perk!

Oh thanks for posting this. I generally limit myself to £5 for a piece of DLC so have picked this up.

So impressed with this game. One of the few where once I have completed the game I still enjoy wondering around and exploring.

Mirelurk cake. Made at a cooking station from Mirelurk Egg, Mirelurk Meat, Oil, Razorgrain.

Eating one adds 30mins to your underwater breathing ability (i.e. I believe you can eat two up front for 1 hour of water time).
