LOL,58GB just for the HD textures. My whole FO4 install with numerous HD texture packs,many of which use 4K maps,is less than that.

is that a proper bethesda mod ?

also is it out yet ?

It's a bethesda game, SLI is fine if you don't mind the odd CTD here and there.

Only running two gun mods on my latest playthrough. One of them being the 9x39 project which adds the vintoretz VSS sniper rifle and AS VAL. The models are more true to size than the older AS VAL mod and has nice reload and fire sounds. Sniper rifle is a bit over powered at the moment as there is no sway when you aim through scopes.

See through scopes mod is being worked on to add compatability soon also.

I hoofed it down to the sentinal site to get it and that was a very tense trip, playing on survival mode at level 20.

They say you need i7-5820K or better, would a 6700K be ok, as that beats it in most games.

waht settings are best to turn down for extra frames im running 4.8 6700 and 980ti @1450 sli 1440p everything maxed and its lagging stuttering on a gsync 144hz

Turning God rays down makes a big difference.

God Rays are essential without them the game does not look anywhere near as good due to the way the aged lighting engine is rendered though!

I'm getting to a point where it looks like I have to take a side soon and to be honest I don't like any of them.

Minor potential spoilers:

Minutemen - I hate Preston Garvey for wasting my time. That's it.

BoS - I'm tempted to go along with them as I've already helped get most of the stuff for LP and that was my most memorable moment in FO3. They are absolute genocidal, xenophobic douches, though. Danse is the only one that hasn't irritated the pants off of me. Nick V is my best buddy so don't like the idea of him potentially being scrapped.

Railroad - They're like the Fallout version of the LibDems - a bit too idealistic and wishy-washy. Seems like the best choice but they aren't exacly out there defending ordinary citizens from ferals and hostile supermutants like the BoS.

Institute - the first thing I did when I got in there was shoot father in the face with my shotgun. Then I had a think about it and reloaded an earlier save to pursue the quest line. Just got to the point where he's on the roof and I just killed him again. I'm wondering to carry on or reload the save just before again. IMO the place needs to be nuked.

Skyrim was far better for the faction thing IMO.

How does this run with just 1 980ti at those settings. Also interested in if a overclocked 980ti can handle the texture pack...

Maybe someone will do a more Vram friendly mod of the textures for lesser cards...

Not to badly will keep over 60 but i like to have 100-120 fps the main things are cpu spikes where frame rate will drop that is the main issue I have found.
