**** Official Fallout 4 Thread ****

If it were bottles of Nuka Cola I'd be in. Especially those awesome rocket shaped bottles like you saw in the fridge during the intro video.

If those beer bottles are in the game I might be interested, but otherwise it's just very expensive beer with some random Fallout label on.

I found the BT infinity products fine (if you have fiber) 80Mb, never dropped below even at high peak times from the middle of a Sheffield suburb. Their CS is cack but the product is more than fine.
On Virgin 100Mb though as fiber in my street is poor (too far to the cab). It goes up to 150Mb for "free" at the end of November.

Have you tried calling up 150 and asking about being put up to 150mb? I was on the 152mbit until a couple of weeks ago when I read about them releasing a 200mbit upgrade for free...only catch is that you have to phone them up and actually tell them that you want more speed for free lol.

Worked a charm for me :)

Fallout 4 pre-ordered. :)

CPU upgraded from AMD X6 Phenom II to AMD FX 8350 @ 4.7GHz (can't afford an intel system and new case right now)
RAM upgraded from 8GB 1600 CAS9 to 16GB 2133 CAS 9 (over kill!)
OS storage upgraded from 256GB Samsung 840 (non pro) to 500GB Samsung EVO 850
Games storage upgraded from 256GB OCZ Vertex 3 to 256GB Samsung EVO 850

GPU is an Nvidia 970 4GB
Monitor is a Dell 24" 1080p IPS

Hoping to max it out at 60fps or thereabouts.

Hoping crossfire and freesync work from day one...it probably won't.

It better... If AMD do not bother getting it right on a huge game like Fallout 4, I won't ever go crossfire again. I mean what's the point of selling expensive dual gpu cards when they can't be asked with making drivers for it?

My thoughts exactly. Major wasted opportunity not making bottles of nuka cola instead. Its something that's actually in the games and I bet more people would be inclined to buy it, especially younger players!

Steps to a railway station in Australia. The hype train is waiting at the top ;)

I havent been this excited for a game in years.
Got my anthology, got my pipboy coming soon, got my funko pops, got my second 970 installed few weeks ago just incase and i'm all ready to not be seen in public for the next 12 months

Was nice knowing you guys :D

Does anyone know when reviews are meant to drop for this?

I was tempted to go PS4 but really want to get it for PC, although don't want another Batman fiasco.

Bethesda don't usually do review embargos afaik and seem happy with press coverage, so would assume in the week just before release.

Gameworks is very bad news as Arkham Knight is still broken 4 months later SLI GTX 980 Ti is not anywhere near fast enough for all Batman gameworks FX right now (why Nvidia are so keen to help devs implement their tech obviously!).
