I had ordered for £22 from g2play a few months back but I bought it through Steam yesterday as I want the ability to pre-load the game before release

It's currently at around £30 on g2play. I should have ordered months ago like you did.

It definitely looks a bit more "shootery" than 3/NV, not sure if that's going to turn out be good/bad or just different

Aye, a bit of a mixed bag in there QA wise but still left me grinning.

Looks like we're going to get some seriously good story and lore, probably tying in nicely to "The Replicated Man" from Fallout 3. On the strength of that alone, one is pumped.

That storyline just ended for me when I told the guy looking for him a lie about him being dead. I had thought I would still get to track him down

fallout 4 + season pass is just over £40 at gamesdeal.com - like them on FB and get an extra 4% off so should be around £38-ish for both all in

Is it worth pre-ordering from steam so it pre-loads?

I never normally play games like this (unless Fallout 1/2) on pc as usually like the controller / big screen chill on the sofa console experience but guess this is my first opportunity to stretch my new 390. Am I likely to able to run the game at max settings @ 1080p with this card?

Hehe, yeah sometimes levelling up your SPECIAL to the point where you can just blitz through quests isn't the best thing in the world.

1) Can your internet connection download 30-40GB in a couple of hour?
2) Would you hurt yourself waiting?

If the answer to the first is yes, and/or the second, no, get it from CDkeys and save yourself a few quid

Yeah you can, they explicitly state that they consider a game being reduced in a sale a valid reason to get a refund, to then rebuy at the lower price. So that means there's no issue buying it, getting a refund then buying it again.

People played fallout and Skyrim after the first month without sprint mods?

I won't lie. I saw the sprinting across the map vid yesterday, and I am a bit disappointed. The leaked making of magazine article claiming more vertical content differences than any of their previous games does give me hope though.

If you played them around the time of release, there weren't any.

I'd cheerfully pay £30 for a new Fallout game from Bethesda or Obsidian that used exactly the same game engine and graphics as Fallout 3 or Fallout New Vegas. No changes in gameplay at all, just a new story and a new setting.

Picked up FO:NV+all DLC (after being one of those FO:3 is awesome, FO:NV sucks weirdo's) and within 30 seconds the graphics stopped mattering.
