**** Official Fallout 4 Thread ****

Just played the first hour, would love to continue but work in 7 hrs so off to bed.

So far it looks great, runs great too on an old i7 and gtx680, running maxed out at 1080p, at 45+ fps, usually 60...
 
Got to the menu, couldnt move my mouse. unplugged the xbox one controller it froze, tried ending it via task manager then a black box where the game was hovered over and could not use any mouse etc in that space forcing a restart.. 2nd try!
 
Not had any problems in the first hour, yeah KB + mouse didn't work, but did as soon as I pulled the xbox360 controller plug. Not the first game that had this ''problem''. They'll fix it! ( well hopefully anyhows)
 
Ok no controller plugged in this time, started the game got a steam message, went to tab out and black screen apart from the taskbar.. grrr

Ok on the "press any key to start " prompt, it crashes. I could exit that..

DK2 is unplugged, controller unplugged, any ideas? Latest drivers btw.

Went to buy the box copy at game :) still going to take a lifetime to install but you know, I just wanted a box to go with my other fallout boxes.

Its always the same people that moan bud... Every thread the same people moaning about pointless problems.. Zzzzzzzz i swear most of it is user error..
 
If you're having FPS problems go to: \Documents\My Games\Fallout4 and in Fallout4Prefs change iPresentInterval=1 to iPresentInterval=0

My FPS was locked at 48 and was getting stuttering, now running at 90 FPS and smooth frame rate.
