**** Official Fallout 4 Thread ****

High int build will make you level quicker, I'm at 58 atm and just over half way of the main story quests with a fair chunk of side quests still there.

I haven't cleared most places on the map out yet though which will no doubt get me up the levels. Apart from trying to 100% clear the map (which is supposed to be impossible now with the respawn system) some places I don't feel the need to clear as no reward for it.

I just tried the latest drivers for the SLI support,

It seems much much better, runs a lot smoother, I could turn absolutely everything to ultra and it's much better than it was,

It's there, just going to try it

I had one of my settlers on the roof as well. Think I quick saved and reloaded and he was on the ground. Didn't bother building stairs for him to come down. :)

I just had one of the other ending up on the roof, same spot as Ms Nilly Willy, this time it was Jun Long. Tried a save and restart but he wouldn't move, so put up the ladder again and once I walked past him he did same thing, turned and walked down.

my mrs has a trader Brahmin stuck on her roof and it's been there for days now :D
can't post a pic as she plays on the xbox

That might been a bit harder getting that one down the ladder. :D

I've had this a few times, not really done anything about it and doesn't seem to be there all the time.

Edit - here's a quick screenshot. And umm yeah, seems like one of my people is up there with it.

Uhmm not sure if it is a bug or there is someone that has "infiltrated" Sancturary but I have 2 Distress Signals with both has their strongest point right where my workshop is.

So was wondering if anyone else had something similar or is it some hidden underground bunker under that house ? I have found one bunker in the area, but that's another house further away. First I thought it might been one of the Power Armour (there is a Power Armour Helmet Icon if looking at the map but guessing that is for the suit that is parked in the Power Armour Stand ?? )

You built your house on top of someone, its no wonder they're distressed! :p

Yes the power armour helmet icon just indicates where you left it.

No I didn't build that house, it was standing there 210 years ago already ! :p

And thanks for the confirmation about the Power Armour Icon. :)

No idea how people are getting to level 60+, I did all areas and most faction quests on my first char and ran out of places to go at level 56ish.

Same. Just finished mine today and topped out at lvl 55 & 105hrs. Didn't use any mods and played as a good guy but next run through its evil time :p

I'd imagine a lot of that comes from how into settlement building you get, I'm at lvl sixty something, probably about halfway through the main quest and still have quite a lot to do and I know a lot of my experience is because of how I spent so long early game building and rebuilding Sanctuary exactly as I want it (before changing to a different idea of where I wanted my base which again came with a massive XP boost as I build it up). Even now when I'm sitting on decent piles of materials (thanks to that shared workshop perk) I can get the best part of a level out of just throwing around some junk walls, some crops and some beds whenever I get a new settlement.

Guys new to fallout games, at the start where you have 21 points to use on your registration form, what is good point spread, and can they all be made up to 10 while playing the game or not ? cheers

Just done the first quest where you get the power amour and lead people to sanctuary. I can't seen to find the garage with the rack to leave the amour in.

In currently in sanctuary.

Those 21 points is for your S.P.E.C.I.A.L points, you can use this to fiddle about with the point in advance if you want and see what you like best.

Just hoover with the mouse over each Perk and it shows you what you can gain later in the game to build further. And yes, once you start playing you can put more points into the S.P.E.C.I.A.L if you so wish. I'm presently at lvl 22 and not put any more points yet into S.P.E.C.I.A.L, but have 4 saved up which 3 of those most likely gonna go in the Charisma tree later, just not got around to it yet. :o

There is no garage in Sancturay where you have the Power Armour Stand, just the one under the roof across from your house. The garage one you thinking about is up at Red Rocket Truck stop where you meet Dogmeat on your way to Concord.

Hope this helps. :)

Thankyou, are you playing with any graphics mods added to game, or just playing as vanilla, cheers

I'll admit I have a dozen of the things in Sanctuary now so I'm not 100% on this but I believe the default one is near the workbench in the house opposite yours.

I'm getting bored :(

Why didn't they make it seamless between building areas instead of loading! Oh look a new building to explore - load -, oh an exit point - load -

blah

Just completed the first side quest so very early on in the game but I've liked what I've seen so far.

Wasn't expecting a Deathclaw so soon:eek:
