Any conflicts at all?
I can never understand why all this is not in the game from the developers, and we have to rely on a few modders to make the game look better, why cant the 100's of developers do it where 1 modder can ?

Decided to go through again as Melee/Unarmed, rather then hit New Vegas, don't want to fire a single shot all game.

Gotta say taking on a Deathclaw with nothing but a tire iron was a bit challenging.

I take it this was the begenning, the Deathclaw in Concord ?? I sure hope you used the Power Armour and Tire Iron to kill it, right ? :p :D

Im level 30, not sure if im missing out on some better weapons?

Im 90% of the time using a rifle that does double damage when target at full health .308 round I think. Its pretty powerful (upgraded to gun rank 3, 60% rifle damage perk)but Ive been using it since about level 20 maybe. I was using Rightous Authority and infact still carry it but I feel like a change.

What are you using? Any easy to grab must have weapons for my level? I have about 7k caps.

Yeah, thing totaled the Power Armour though. :o

Silly question, but do most of the melee finisher moves only happen in 3rd person.

I occasionally get 1 in 1st person, but it always seems to be the same 3 punch combo.

I'm lvl 31 and using several weapons:

Advance 10 MM Pistol with Suppressor - For those close quiet kills. :D
Incendiary Powerful Combat Shotgun - Close quarters weapon.
Overcharged Plasma Sniper Rifle - Nice to have Normal and Energy damage in one. :)
.50 Sniper Rifle (just realised Cait picked up a Suppresed .50 Sniper Rifle from somewhere so might change for that one, cheeky girl. :p )
.308 Calibrated Powerful Sniper Rifle with a +50% damage against Super Mutants on it.
The last Minute, recently bought so not used it yet really but has really nice damage so be using it on occasion, need to find more 2mm EC ammunition for it though.
And finally a Calibrated Powerful Combat Rifle for just walking around with.

I also have lvl 3 in Handgun and Rifle perks so doing nice damage most of the time. Just tinker with your weapon workbench and make the best weapons you can that you liking. Of course, being lucky getting one or two good drops would be helpful as well. :)

no clue about melee, hopefully someone else can advice you about that. I going Handgun/Rifle path here.

Yeah, interestingly it only seems to affect 290 cards. According to the Steam forum anyway.

I will roll back my drivers later. 13.11 seems a bit extreme though? Was the something wrong with the 14.7's?

Sorry, yeah I meant 14.7s :D

Early post fail, what was I thinking about? Thats what you get when you post on OC early whilst "working".

You can grab a Gauss rifle from a vendor at that stage. Its after you do the Minuteman castle quest

Ronnie Shaw becomes a vendor
Pretty devastating weapon.

I had a really bad idea, would it work?

At present I have 11 base Charisma (waited until I had 10 to get the bobblehead). I've got Agatha's dress for an extra 3, a hat +1 and some glasses +1. Total = 16

If I take the following:
Beer +1
Bobrovs Moonshine +1
Dirty Wastelander +1
Gwinnett Ale +1
Gwinnett Brew +1
Gwinnett lager +1
Gwinnett pale +1
Gwinnett pilsner +1
Gwinnett stout +1
Day Tripper +3
Grape Mentats +5
X-cell +2

Would these stack to give me an additional 19 for a total of 35? I was even thinking of storing a beer and all the Gwinnett drinks in Buddy for an additional 7. That way you could get 45+ into one settlement?

Or am I being mad? :D

Do it, just do it. Report back with your findings :D

Stability across all platforms is normally the reason, funny word for Bethesda games! :p Modders then push the boundaries as far as the game can cope with scripts and higher resolution textures, it would be nice to see Bethesda pick up the guys from SKSE and some Nexus developers to make a nice niche team to get mods out quicker and within the game already.

However FO4 is a big jump from FO3 detail wise and with nice sun scattering/god rays so can't complain to much with their attempt.

Back to the game though and this depresses me each time..

56 hrs on record
last played on 27 Nov

:( - Need some decent time to get stuck in!!

Still trying to find X-cell, was hoping someone may have all these and ready to give it a go. I'll try gather up all the stuff and report back. I think it should all stack, considering they're different items. May need to drop an addictol afterwards to ward off any addiction drop in charisma though.

It should work. I boosted intelligence to 23 before as it all stacks.

I Have a base of 10, bobble head pushed it to 11, permanent. X-01 Internal database upgrade +2, X-01 Institute paint +1, Mentats +2, Berry Mentats + 5 and Xcell + 2. Worked awsome before I hit a few big locations where real high level enemies spawned to earn XP :D

X-Cell can be found
National Guard training yard, stuff re spawns so easy to harvest off the enemy who carries it nomally

But +45, now that sounds awesome, do report back !

Is there any vendor that gives you awesome prices for your loot?

Also, got the reinforced combat armor, high specs, and found a regular right arm piece later which I cannot upgrade to the left arm spec. Can do polymer but it's lower than the left reinforced mod and when I see how high my reinforced will be at polymer level it's way higher. So what's going on?

Good vendor prices require you to have high charisma and the perk - for which the name escapes me - that allows you to get better prices at vendors and to then invest 500 caps in a store. Finding the Tales of a Junkytown Vendor magazines also rather help in this regard.

Getting the Local Leader 2 perk is a good idea too, let's you build your own stores and invest in them - I've found that they tend to have more caps than the "main" stores in the game such as the stores at Diamond City.

The armour comes in 3 different tiers, one could label them as Light, Medium and Heavy. It confused me as well, so I installed this little mod:

Armor Tag Sorting by Chronos1172 - http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/4878/?

It's been updated now I see and can either write out the different label for them or pick the one I using, +, ++, +++ to show what is what. A single + is for light, ++ for medium and +++ then for the Heavy armour. My guess is that your reinforced armour is a heavy armour and the right arm you found is medium, or might even be a light armour one.

Cookeh - The perk you thinking of is Cap Collector, at lvl 3 of the perk you can invest 500 caps in a Store.

I forgot to turn off the recruitment transmitter at one of the outposts :o

So when I used it as a step off point for a quest I was met by rather a lot of people.

Having to build wacky stacked arrangements to house them all since it is a very small area.

tell them to go elsewhere if you have little space.

Legendary dropped 10mm modded to the max
Combat Shotgun (I named it "Boomstick")
Righteous Authority modded to the max
.308 Rifle with recon scope. Just waiting to get materials to make it .50. (I named it "Javelin")

They're the four I carry around the most, but I have dozens of others, as I tend to keep my legendary weapons and armour. I tend to keep unique items, even if they're in storage forever.

I have a crate that I use to store everything I plan to sell, and use the relevant workbench to rename each item to "sell me", so I can quickly sort through everything and sell at a vendor.
