*** Official FIFA 11 Thread ***

While just playing a quick game.... I got injured which made me think, I'd be nice for them to make more use of the Vibration. Use if for things like chesting the ball or collisions (not just injuries)
 
First Fifa 11 Review 94% Got the Best Football Game Ever!

The first FIFA 11 review is in - and EA's effort has been acclaimed "the best football game ever" in the new GamesMaster magazine.

According to the review, FIFA's gone from "strength to strength" and this year's instalment's "got the looks, the sounds, the depth and plays like a dream".

GamesMaster points praise at FIFA 11's huge number of variable outcomes. It says each match delivering more variety, excitement and realism that last year's excellent entry.

Praise is pointed at the new Be a Goalkeeper mode, more realistic passing engine and, excitingly, interactive celebration cutscenes (described as "possibly the best part of the game").

It's all hugely positive stuff and certainly has the ladies and gents in the office (well, mostly the latter) geared up for the October 1 release.

Hmmm, not sure what happened with that, lol. You can upload your teams custom chants/game intro music and have it play during the game, sound spretty epic.

But I wont be buying this on the 360. :p

Ahhh so when you asked me ages ago what il be getting it on it was to avoid getting beaten online. (im terrible at the game btw ask jake lol)

Howcome your getting it on the ps3?
 
Yes it has all been pre planned. Hahaha.

I like the PS3 pad for Fifa. However if you, and maybe Jake are getting it on the 360, I might have my arm twisted and get it for the 360.

Im much like yourself the ps3 pad is much better for fifa but most folk will have it on the 360 which is why i'l more than likely end up with it on the 360. I really dont fancy buying it for both consoles again this year.

Yep..the last Fifa game I bought was World Cup 98...and I'm buying an Xbox tomorrow just for Fifa 11 as most of my friends have it on xbox with live as well :D

Probably the same way that the custom sounds and goal horns are added in the NHL games. In the options you have a list of teams, you plug a USB drive in with the sounds you want and then you choose a sound file from the external drive and replace the in game sound with it. If you've done it wrong or you're tired of the custom sounds you can revert back to default at any time. Sounds great in theory but on NHL for some reason all custom sounds were very quiet compared to the other sounds in game, no matter what you change the respective volumes to.

This is going to be awesome. :)

Although I do hope that the players don't all line up and shake hands at the beginning of every single game, if you watch league football they never do that, it's line up in the tunnel, run out onto the pitch and then kick off, no lining up shaking everyone's hand a la international games. Small thing but it would annoy me.
