This is going to be awesome. :)

Although I do hope that the players don't all line up and shake hands at the beginning of every single game, if you watch league football they never do that, it's line up in the tunnel, run out onto the pitch and then kick off, no lining up shaking everyone's hand a la international games. Small thing but it would annoy me.

Yes they do. Don't they?

No they don't unless it's an international game or a cup match. You don't see the players line up on the pitch and all shake hands like you do on that video as if it was a cup final or something. Either that or every week when Sky cuts to adverts they all shake hands and have a tea party.

I think it is usually during the adverts. From the Chelsea games I've been to I seem to remember there always being a shaking of hands.

Remember all the fuss about whether Bridge would shake Terry's hand when they met in Feb this year? That was definitely a league game - http://www.guardian.co.uk/football/2010/feb/27/premier-league-chelsea-manchester-city-live

Yeah they still do, it's just that Sky Sports and co use it as another slot for adverts. If you cast your mind back to the John Terry Wayne Bridge handshake fiasco, that's the only time I can remember them not cutting to adverts. :)

I can't believe I'm in India and won't be able to play this until Christmas...gutted. You lot will be so much better than me online by then :p

They'd better remove the scripting found in fifa world cup 2010 if it's in fifa 11 a lot of people aren't going to be happy.

Nothing like totally dominating 6 people in a row 70% possession and 10 times more shots on target and still losing.

Arggggggggggggggggg :D

Also they'd better add numeric pings as 3 green bar people can still be hellish unplayable laggers you know the types when you have to press every button twice just for it to register an input.

Not sure i'll be able to stomach much more " hidden morale "

I hate lagging players, they shouldn't be allowed to play online without a decent ping.

I also hate the hidden morale rubbish, its absolutely stupid and should have no place online.

Please tell me scripting/penalty systems/hidden morale are not in place in WC2010.

It's the one bug bear I have with online......

I just want the Manager Mode to be fixed, or at least made worth playing instead of feeling like a connection of friendly matches. You can't even manage your team properly, unless you choose one of the top 3 or 4 teams in each league then no player will want to come to your club, or you won't be able to afford their wages. EA have been so short sighted with this, I chose Swansea, got them to the Premier League and then realised that you cannot increase their wage budget, so the only option you realistically have of signing decent players (80+ OVR) is to put your youth system up to 10 and then hope you can get good youth players. You can't even sign free agents because the good players demand ridiculous wages or don't feel your club is prestigious enough. Needs sorting out.

I'm not *that* bothered about the online this year, I'll only be using the online to play Club matches, I can't be bothered with the standard online head to head games anymore, you either play against Barca, Real Madrid or Chelsea, where's the fun in that?

Agreed you only play a select few 5 * teams online, it's such a shame. Hopefully though I will have a few friends to play with and have some good games against them.

I was so excited about getting Fifa 11 this year, but after reading WC2010 still has those online morale issues, I am suddenly thinking if to buy it or not.

I'll probably be getting it purely for online club purposes, but I'm still undecided between this and PES, hopefully the demo will feel like it's made improvements and not just a reskinned version of WC2010.

Do any of you play on full manual settings? If so they are including a manual only leaderboard this year which should make finding all manual games easier.

If you haven't then give it a try because it makes Fifa far better in my opinion. It's much more realistic than the ping pong passing of assisted. Only downside is you've got no chance against assisted players which is why the new leaderboard is a great idea.
