I actually deleted the demo from my PS3 due to the frustration that as soon as you start getting a good passing rhythm and start some good moves the half ends. Only 9 days to go anyway.

One of my friends said he's gonna queue up at midnight etc - think he's gonna be buying about 6 copies for everyone
Also about the demo - its sooo hard to score. Probably had about 10-15 games so far (Vs friends, not cpu) and its been 0-0 in about 70% of them.

Good luck with that, the supermarkets were restricting them to 1 copy per customer last year, to stop people doing exactly that.

Must admit, when i first played the demo a few days back i thought wtf this feels so slow and awkward now and i thought they had ruined it. I was also certain they had ruined penalties.
The more and more i play it the better it seems to knit together. Penalties are now actually half decent, no more holding a direction and putting a fair amount of power in it and making it unsaveable. I agree with the notion that you just start to get into the game with some decent passing and its half time, thats quite annoying! I wish they would pass the ball a little harder and faster with a full charge of the bar as at the moment it seems to take a little too long to get the ball over 20-30 yards with a simple pass.
Looking forward to the full game no doubt!

One thing I have just noticed over the last couple of games is how good the crowd is now. They seem to have a bit more situation awareness. Now they jeer etc at misplaced passes, it just sounds a bit more real. Better than the whining drone on Pro Evo.

I felt the same way. It didnt start off as something anything special but the more I play it the better it gets. I think this is probably the most intelligent the AI have got in years. It actually feels like I have a team playing with me.
I have gone from thinking this is ok to actually thinking on getting this on the release date. Going to play the PES Demo just to make sure.

Have you tried using the driven pass? Hold RB/R1 while you press lofted pass button (B/Circle). The ball travels close to the ground and with a fair bit of pace. I started using these last night and they are an excellent way of passing over 20 yards. You also don't need to charge them as long as you would over the same distance with normal pass.

played my first couple of games just now. Really liking it, though obviously it's not a massive difference from the wc 2010 game. I'm looking forward to hopefully learning a bit more with this fifa and becoming a better player overall. Even things like the driven pass, as referenced in the post above mine - i had no idea about that! looking forward to trying it.
I then played the pes 2011 demo and it was shocking!! I wasn't expecting much but seriously, i played an entire game and i didn't enjoy a single second of it. i just felt that there wasn't a single aspect that was better than fifa. I can't understand people who think that pes has superior graphics...imho fifa looks far more realistic and polished and, more importantly, feels far more intuitive and responsive to play.

Im not to sure why they bang on about it anyway. Even IF the graphics are better, Pro evo still plays like a bag of spaniels covered in glue.
Ahh this makes things a little quicker! Switching the ball from flank to flank is much faster now and doesn't break down play as much.

Whats everyones fav player on the demo ? Ronaldo and drogba are emense, have a big inpact in a match.

No problem - I also managed to score with one last night after I'd missed about my tenth 1v1 in a row using normal shot or finesse shot. Not sure how well it would work with assisted\semi assisted, but on manual you can aim for the corner of the goal and use it as a shot as well.
I managed 3-0 with barca on it. Not gone near the demo again incase i get beaten.
i think there must be smt up with the demo as legendary isnt that difficult (tho i was barca ). Can usually draw sometimes win by the odd goal. Scored a fluke freekick with xavi where the bounce beat the keeper. (couldnt upload cos psn was down :/ )
